Yes you can sing no matter what.. You have to plan your diet, time, take care of throat from dusts, pollution, ac effects, cold water etc., by staying precautioned, you will be able to stay away from any effects further.

Madam, my voice is said as 'base voice' by some, and some mistake it as male voice. In Which sruthi shd I sing/ practice?
Doesnt matter what type of voice you have...dont bother about comments from others... Sing what you cud sing at ease...dont strain much... What comes freely is your voice... whether it is base or high or normal pitch.
