As a widow myself, I understand the “huge void” of which Her Majesty speaks. Philip may not have been king of his country, but he undoubtedly was the first and only true king of his queen’s heart.

Beautifully said my parents where together over 60 years until after a fight we as a family try to hold on to what mum and dad give us unfortunately due to covid this has made things difficult. My father turned 90 and once this has lifted we are going to have a family party. But God bless you and you will meet again.
When a spouse dies it is sometimes like a half of your body is gone that you’re operating with one leg and one arm a half a brain. Both crippling and sad it takes so long to get better

It's so unfortunate and unhealthy to identify so much with his mother as that nasty broad who snagged him is just amplifying his grief when Just Harry was actually moving forward in his healing. How conflicting for him to now be attempting to meld the two worlds of LA bs/Meghan and the land of his birth and the honors that Philip bestowed upon him. I had the honour of meeting Prince Philip once.. he was so lovely and down to earth. He visited my Grandad several times as he ran a school for disabled & disadvantaged children in Yorkshire. Grandad had nothing but positive, amazing, funny and cheeky.. both Prince Philip and my grandad could swear like troopers 😂.. things to say about HRH. He was an amazing man that will most certainly be missed.

I was going to say we need to be considerate that Harry is grieving, but then I remembered Harry & Meghan pay for a PR firm. Misstep after misstep, even the new statement is oddly worded. He has this obsession with using the word service, and the words he uses seem like he is trying to promote his own deeds at the same time as his grandfathers. William has a great PR team, Harry on the other hand is getting awful advice.
It will be fitting to have a memorial. Prince Philip - he glady gave his service freely and his integrity was impeccable a true loss to the world but in leaving he guided us through his work. Duke of Edinburgh awards helped many prisoners take a look at their lives and realise they were capable of leaving that life behind and create a life worth living

My heartfelt condolences to the Windsor family. The Queen is in my prayers. Prince Phillip seemed to be a great family man. He did a great job as a husband,father,grandfather and great grandfather. He will live on in the spirit of the memories and grat accomplishments. RIP Prince Phillip.
at the end of the day, the royal family is a family like any other. they have disagreements and they may not speak to each other sometimes but i believe that moments like this can bring healing. i know all the kids will be supportive of the queen no doubt

The Queen was born to rule. She got the right husband in her side. He was very supportive as we all can see. I believed in one's speaking their mind, people may not like you, but you are at peace for speaking your mind. The Queen is a very accommodative, clam, never seen upset or angry in public. The whole family are in our prayers at this difficult time.
