Operation Christmas Child OCC New Filler Ideas to Send to Processing Centers to Fill Shoeboxes!

- Thank you Michelle, for making and sending these fillers, so all of us can get ideas for making our own filler sets to send to the processing centers! I am blessed to be a part of the OCC community working together to spread the Gospel! I hope the children who receive shoeboxes this next season will feel God's love and trust Jesus as Lord and Savior!
Franklin Graham wants us to send more toys in our shoeboxes and to the processing center. And that's our aim! We want children to experience delight when opening their shoebox gifts. And may that delight cause them to feel a deep desire to know more about this Jesus who loves them. And may they receive Jesus as Lord and Savior!

Are you interested in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ? Believe in Jesus, admit you have sinned and ask him to forgive your sins. Trust Him and receive him as your Savior and Lord. Read all about God in the Bible, starting in Genesis with creation to understand God and sin and the punishment for sin. Also, read the New Testament to understand what Jesus did, so that we could have forgiveness and redemption from sin. The Bible reveals God's plan for his children and the world. It tells us that Jesus will come soon for his children and we get to live forever with him!
We are blessed to have the Bible so we can know all about him.
I am very glad I can participate with Operation Christmas Child to bring the good news of Jesus and eternal life to the children around the world who have never heard about him. We are making a difference for eternity!

What are the most important things to add to your shoeboxes?
Michelle and I agree Dolls and Plush are important.
Kristi Graham recommends several items after experiencing a recent distribution. She recommends backpacks, water bottles, and soccer balls.
FRANKLIN GRAHAM RECOMMENDS A PERSONAL NOTE AND PRAYER!
Yves Dushime (see blessingsinashoebox.com for a link to his video) recommends school supplies, a personal note and also soccer balls.
We're trying to include all of those items in our shoeboxes this year!
Don't forget to make Love Letters for all your shoeboxes AND fillers! We were inspired by Yves Dushime who praises God for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift he received when he was 11 years old living in Togo. It was the first gift he ever received, and God used it to help turn his heart from hatred to love. The note in his shoebox changed the course of his life!

Challenge accepted - like you said in another video - not just fillers, but "treasures!" I now need that new printable to add to my kits! I might need the frog stuff, too. I can't get over Michelle's talent and how exponentially God uses her.

These packs are so special. They will take up a good amount of room in those boxes that need a little something extra.

I agree! Special indeed and practical for fillers. I think adding soft things to shoeboxes is a treat to the receiving child too. Many boxes are lacking in softness-especially the boys. I’m happy Michelle has made creating and sending nice fillers a priority. It inspires me to do the same thing!

I like them all but I think the soccer ones are my favorite.
The balls and the soccer print are sooo cute in the organza bags! And the fabric is sooo soft!
Loved the fishing 🎣 kits with the blankets! I found containers of 6 shuttlecock at Walmart for .50 cents today. Excited to send the extras as fillers.

I didn't count them but I have three medium size boxes of plush so far. Question: Does anyone know where to get travel size sets of chess or dominoes? They would make good gifts as both games are played worldwide by both young teens and adults.
I’ve gotten travel Dominos on Amazon. But Dollar tree has them too. I’m not sure about chess. Please let me know if you find some. 😊

Like Christy said I have seen them at Dollar Tree but I have also seen them at my Kroger. And got several marked down to 50 cents each. My local Kroger is a Marketplace so they have a bigger selection of toys than most do but these were originally in a stocking stuffer display. I bet other stores would have something similar in the lead up to Christmas in their “dollar (these days under $5)” section or in the early summer for summer road trips.

@@cindygardner8649 I live in the South. While I have been able to get checkers games at Dollar Tree, they have never had chess or dominoes at my stores. Since my original post, I have switched over to just collecting school supplies and plush for filler. I am no longer looking for games, etc. I hope you find all you need for your OCC boxes. I would love to send cloth pad kits for the processing centers…how could I do this? And where could I send them to? Thanks!
You can put them in sets of pads in zipper pouches/wet bags and put the sets in a box and mark “fillers” and drop off at the same place you take your shoeboxes to. If you are unsure, you can give sets to someone you know who makes shoeboxes. They can send them in with their shoeboxes. Or if those ideas won’t work, send the sets to me and I will turn them in for you.

Theres all kinds of gifts for ages 15 to 17 so why cut it off at 14
What I don't understand maybe someone can explain it to me children to me are still considered children till their 18 so tell me somebody why do the Xmas boxes ages cut off at 14 that's not fair to the older ones and untill the age limit I won't participate and alot of people I have talk to feel the same way it's not fair the 14 year old sibling to get a box and his 15 year old sibling doesnt
I recommend asking Samaritan’s Purse that question.
