For me, a perfect nasi lemak should be: Rice - Must be perfectly cook, the grains were individually & not sticked to each other. Enough santan. Sambal - Must be spicy, not too salty, has slightly sweet flavour at the end. Eggs - Not much expectation, it can be a hard boil one or ommelete. Ikan bilis & peanut - Just fry it, make sure it's crispy & not burned. Fried Chicken (optional) - Crispy, well-seasoned, it can be wether ayam goreng berempah, ayam goreng kunyit or ayam goreng McD. 😅 Like if you agree

In Indonesia, generally we call it Nasi Uduk. But in my town, Jambi Indonesia, for the breakfast we call it Nasi Gemuk. But there's also sold at night with pecel lele, we also call it Nasi Uduk.
