My mom likes books with frontier women, so that would remind me of her. The cover to Head in the Clouds is beautiful, I put that one on her "for later" list at the library. My mom is not on the computer at all, so I request and tend to her library account. I think she kind of reminded me of the Mom Mouse in "the secret of nihm" movie. When I was younger I liked Pippi long stocking and the movie "the rescuers". My mom has read the great big original "Kristy" book.
Has your mom read Janette Oke? A lot of her books are frontier women. And did you mean Christy by Catherine Marshall? I loved that book.
