As graduate student, I got to know a Japanese fellow my neighbor in the graduate men's dorm--he was very kindf and even shared some things his wife sent frm Japan. Seaweed should be a special addition with trace elements--- try it sometime, or ask at an Asian food stores. How sad that so many overlook what nature has provide from the sea! God Bless ALL ASIANS evrywhere, for all their good work and great foods! Amen.
This man is very sophisticated in his appearance and how he stands, walks and dresses. His cooking looks equally impressive. The quality of his ingredients like is wonderful and is likely quite expensive. Japanese appreciate quality food.
wow he does really is Unique: he perfected Asian Cuisines.... There are not many Chef cooks that can Mix-Master like he is doing... Authentic perfect Fusion Chinese/Japanese Food that is healthy/delicious & beautiful to watch! He should have some Michelin as fine Dinning in my Opinion. A smart & humble wise man:) He has good Skills....Crafted in Perfection..... If I was in Japan I would even try to find his Restaurant:) It\s really Soulful Food....Bless this man & his family. Actually Chinese food also have thick soup as well. e.g. 粟米魚肚羹 Corn fish maw soup,雞蓉粟米羹 Chicken and corn soup,西湖牛肉羹 West Lake Minced Beef Soup,紅燒碗仔翅 Braised shark fin soup,海鮮豆腐羹 Seafood tofu soup,太史五蛇羹 Taishi Five Snake Soup.....
those are not roast pork..... it's a form of char siu this is a more like using Chinese technique to cook Japanese foods.... lots of things proper Chinese chefs do not use...
it's hard to say a chinese food, very special and design by himself. I hope he use his own name but not chinese as it would create a confuse and like a thief if you won't like it but use their name.
