Wow, I never realized that the morning shows had the new lower thirds and teaser graphics as early as July 2004, or maybe I knew it back then but have since forgotten. I think it took many more months until sometime that fall for the new lower thirds and teaser graphics to come to the afternoon, evening, and nighttime day parts.

I'm pretty sure those graphics debuted in June, IIRC. At the same time, Afternoon Outlook and Weather Center began using a new version of the blue daytime lower thirds (seen in this video: th-cam.com/video/--w-eLDa8Ps/w-d-xo.html ). The weekend morning graphics weren't updated until August, and the rest of shows updated in November.
