The building is one of the key factors keeping the game interesting for me and friends. However the increased use of monetization tactics in Once Human will start driving folks away; bounty system behind a paywall, DLC cosmetics for $15 via Steam, and of course the new gamble/fomo crates every two weeks. All this while basically being told we will not have any new scenarios until Q3 2025 is very concerning.
They still need to survive, so charging is not too bad an idea. On top of that skins can be share with 4 other bases that's 20% per base. If you're not working, then too bad, otherwise it's just how many lunches you have to go on diet. We could pay for internet and electricity, but not a game? Even your average youtuber is asking for your subs and donations, like this one.
well they have to make money somehow, and they doing it for cosmetic only. it doesnt affect gameplay at all. that is very rare for a free game to do thing like this.
They need to add unique stuff for player to earn through playing. For some people not interested in buying too much, it is getting boring once you done all those scenarios repeatedly. At this point me and friend only log in for a bit and log out, there aren't much to do or stuff worth doing once got everything settled.
I dont mind if they add new scenario at q3 2025, i thino they do that for make it less bug, because the last scenarion have many bug there, i think they are learn from they past mistake
