Dude I been watching all your videos. I'm a independent country artist and working building a home studio to make tracks myself. Keep it up your helping alot
It sounds great for sitting into the mix. use some slight echo with and adjust the reflection. it will give a little more country feel. if you can adjust the amp model, use a silver face with a classic V EQ setting at the end. This will allow it to really bring it to life.
I’ve been messing with Amples Lap Steel and it gives me goosebumps just hearing that genuine lap steel….might have to try this one out. Its an instrument you don’t realize it’s importance until it’s not there. As if the song becomes stale.
Hey Forest, this plugin sounds really good. It needs a little bit of work to get it in the sweet spot, but It's now on my favourites list, so I'm now just waiting for that sale. Thanks for all your work, K.
This Plugin sounds great, think you may have sold me on it !! May wait for the next sale and keep my eyes on it . also bit off subject but what drumkit did you use for the drums on the song from the livestream? they sound so good ( or was it done with an actual drumkit?)
Wow I have been playing around with this plug-in for the last few days! Really cool to hear your rundown of it. What does a good plugin chain look like for it?
In a mix with effects it's ok but by itself it sounds synthesized. Even in the mix I can tell it's not a real pedal steel. The average public doesn't care.
I don't think it sounds good when playing it in the style of a electric guitar, a steel guitar should be used to add feelings to a song not to carry it like a guitar does.
I’m sorry,…I have to disagree,….this just doesn’t sound realistic at all. It’s a cool sound,…but you can’t call that a steel guitar. It’s more of a synth if anything. Believe me,…just hire a steel player,..they can’t be replaced with a plug-in.
Any player can be replaced with Ai. Just the way it is now. Especially since players have been playing the same damn riffs over and over on every country song since 2005.
I'm sorry but the steel guitar sounds too fake. You can hear the cuts. Just like the new pop country that is an insult to real old country in the years of Buck Owen, George Jones, Loretta Lynn etc. Someone had to say it.
You know you have to spend literally dozens of hours with these plugins to get a real sound right? An hour long tutorial Livestream use obviously isn't going to sound real. I use a LOT of vsti instruments, sometimes even over live instruments or as a supplement. It just takes a lot of work but can be faster to fill in gaps. Not to mention a small country band doing a demo track doesn't need a real steel player. They're fine with just drum/guitar/bass/vocals and adding the rest ITB until they secure a deal or the funding to hire a studio player.

Just listened to your Hero EP…sounds great! Where’d you record that?
Ha nice seeing someone around my neck of the woods watching the same tutorials 😅 I also dig the Hero EP man 🤘
Same here brother good luck with your music!!!
Nothing beats a real steel player but this plugin works well with a volume pedal I'm told. 🤠

I have got it since long back. Always great to listen to demos like this, as it comes with some great ideas 💡

Thank you for showing this video!
very few steel players play continuous single string notes. do you have any samples with full chords

You have to have Kontakt free or full version for it to work.

Channel is a giant advertisement. Vipers feeding off of the ignorant.
Yep. I love this plugin. Thanks for keeping this channel rockin.
