One of the better direct comparison videos, a few odd narration goofs notwithstanding. The G500 is arguably the looker of the bunch, but the wider taller cabin and more advanced wing with leading edge high-lift devices (that Gulfstream unfortunately avoids using) make the 6X the more compelling craft.
The Gulfstream G500 ist faster than the Falcon 6x and the Falcon costs 6 million more, for that money you almost get the Gulfstream G600 with a much longer cabin and 2000 km extra range.
NO doubt the Falcon is a much better plane! Gulfstream benefits from being an American company and the biggest market being the USA. But the Falcon is to the Gulfstream what a Porsche is to a Chevrolet...
Great visuals. The narrator is wrong for this content. And "Cooking Room" isn't part of an aircraft interior. Anyway, good info. I'll make my decision soon.
The G5 is a great aircraft as are all/most Gulfstream products but it older technology. . Its not even ,ade anymore. Production stopped in 2022. This comparison is useless IMO. The Falcon 6X is a much newer and more advanced aircraft. Its not even in service yet actually. There is one being completed at Falcon's completion center. There are industry biases to Falcon or Gulfstream but as far as state of the art then and design there is no comparison. The Falcon takes that category easily.
I'm lucky enough to be the Lead Captain on the 2nd 6X set for delivery. Currently flying the 7X.
If I hit the lottery the 6X would be one of my first purchases for my tall family🤓
The Falcon 6X finally being delivered to the first customers. A jet with one of the shortest take-off distances in the industry.

Being 6' 3" I choose the 6X, it also gets better gas millage
Ok I'm thinking to give the 6x a shot...love the skylight. Plus the brightness of the interior
Great comparison video! I'd choose the Falcon 6X, with its wider and taller cabin. Plus I love that skylight in the entryway!
If you are tall the 6X is the way to go! 6’6” headroom. BUT that Gulfstream is the BOMB💥
That Falcon is a beautiful bird.

@@christianbayerstein5243 Ah yes ! But the Falcon is more beautiful...
Being I was looking at buying one for my business and spending time going over them both, hands down G500!
The Falcon 10x has a larger cabin, the G500 needs less fuel for almost the same range. (13.7 tons to 15.3 tons)
NO doubt the Falcon is a much better plane! Gulfstream benefits from being an American company and the biggest market being the USA. But the Falcon is to the Gulfstream what a Porsche is to a Chevrolet...
There are quite a few technical data issues, for both aircraft, in this video for the cabin, avionics, cabin environment, DFCS, and cruise.
Dassault "a new name"?? Is that a joke? 🙄😆 They were the first cie to launch business jets 60 years ago! 😎
Nothing flys as nice as a Falcon
The Gulfstream G500 Jets are currently grounded if the wind is more than 15 MPH due to a software issue resulting in hard landings.
Thx for the information

6X
Gulfstream. Better customer service
