  • Hopefully by now, I'll be getting feedback on these videos, so this may be the last video of this new series depending how people like it, but I'm quite happy with how they are going so far.
But again, more coaches with some Southern Thanet coaches, a printed version of the G6 class which I did have a brass version of though needs a smaller chassis and finally some Bulleid versions of the EPBs, which I'll use to replace some of my two vehicle sets!

    Hi James.
You have been busy. The EPB's are just a bit too modern for my period, but the Thanet set would be great. All I've got to do now is decide which to order first, those or the ex LBSCR set. The G6 is also very tempting, but that may have to wait as I've already got one built from an N Brass kit.
I really like this format, especially the inclusion of the prototype information. Please keep up the good work.
Regards, Pete . PS. The 2 NOL s are now finished, pictures in a day or two.

Heya Pete, always like to keep busy!
And that's all fine, you'll prob like the EMU which I've just finished designing though heh, and do need to double check on the Thanet's scaling, but just let me know which ones you'd like and will get them ready for you!
And glad you like the new format, still trying to keep the time down to something bit more reasonable, might have to limit how many things to do per month but will keep on with it, also do look forward to seeing how you got on with the 2NOL!

I'm really interested in those EPBs - I need a 2-car and 4-car duo for my layout! How are you planning on powering them?

I currently use Tomytec TM-25 chassises to power the EMUs I design, you can find them relatively affordable via the Japanese Amazon and they do ship to the UK.
People have used Greenmax chassis as well, though that does need some extra material removed to accept the wider chassis.

@@GosportRailworks I have the TM-17 chassis to-hand which I thought was going to be a good shout, I don't know about the TM-25's. Are these for sale yet?

      Hopefully the link works: www.amazon.co.jp/en/dp/B00TQEPAF6/
The TM-25 seems to be the main one you can buy that's generally always in stock these days, the TM-17 is quite close in sizes to the 25 with only minor differences so would work the same (some of my EMUs do use a 17 or 18, don't recall which ones though)
Only main modification you need to do is remove the very end plastic parts after the bogies to allow the chassis to fit within the body.
