If his trainer hadn't been such a freaking wuss, I really think they could have been an amazing team. Granted, I'm glad Charmander made him wild again, but hey, I'D want him on my team.
I would have swooped in and saved that Flareon. Any trainer would need 8 gym badges to get me to listen to their commands, being level 81, but at least I have a heart. I am assuming this Flareon is around level 33, so I know I must be really careful; but I would have to service that Charmander.

When you think about it, this is probably one of the best Pokemon animations ever. It's so developed, and it actually has some sense of emotion and tension. All of the characters have some sort of personality, and it fits the series so well.
Flareon is definitely saving charmander in episode 10...

I know what's going to happen. A: The caterpies are going to train Squirtle, Charmander get's stronger and "saves" squirtle, and Squirtle now can use better water type moves. B: They train squirtle, squirtle kills them and leaves, and charmander finds him.

Connor Howard Possibility A sounds more likely to happen considering it would be out of character for Squirtle to kill anybody compared to Charmander who just doesn't care about the out come of his actions.
I think the clue was that squirtle will actually be trained and evolve, hence the you will leave a diffrent pokemon, that pokemon being wartortle.

Guys you should be satisfied waiting one year for a 9 minute episode. most of the animators take at least one month to produce a 30-60 second animation. Shippidge is also working alone and he has a life too so go watch other things while waiting for another episode of starter squad and show some support to keep shippidge motivated.

Yes. But you do know, these take for ever to make? Especially if it's the program I think it is. Planning, animating, writing a script, and voice acting takes a long while. So, you can't rush this. I would love to see you make an animation like this every week. :)

The more I look back at these videos the more I realize that squirtle was right. not playing by the rules and just walking around while not knowing how things work isn’t the way to do things. if all three of them just found a trainer and acted like a normal Pokémon then things would just be easy on them. it really hurts to see how the starters friendship turned out being in the newer episodes
