I walked in a McDonald's in Indonesia as a Belgian and I saw rice dishes on the menu board. The lady behind the counter shouted: "TOURISTS!" And she took a list of burgers from under the counter.
Yes u would see rice in the menu because rice in Indonesia🇮🇩 is our staple food without it we would go crazy🙃

Yeah, because we asian always thought you dont eat yet if you eat your food without rice, and basically all western dish is snack for us, you dont eat yet if you just eat big mac. Indo is one of the biggest rice producer in the world's so rice always in our blood

I tried McDonald's whenever I travel but only McDonald's India who gave me a great experience. I tried Mc Aloo Tikki and burger with egg filling inside (forgot the name). The spice was very rich and the chili sauce was much more hotter than what we had in McDonald's Indonesia. Love it! I would love to try again sometime

I’m an American but I lived in France about 10 years ago. I remember walking into a McDonald’s in Paris just out of curiosity, and I saw that they had what was called the “American Burger” on the menu. It was a hamburger patty on a bagel. I chuckled to myself, thinking, “no American I know would eat a burger on a bagel.” Was I wrong?
When I lived in Germany, I went to France for a few days. Ordered the “Americano” sandwich. Out of curiosity. It was weird ham, weird peppers and eggs. That was definitely no American sandwich, you would find in the U.S. lol.

the tokyo one looks nice. I tried a similar one in hong kong, with a black bun and the teriyaki beef, the tteriyaki sauce is a bit sweet, but not the annoying sweet, pretty tasty.

Mcdonalds menu here is just like in the US - Big Mac, Double cheeseburger, Hash Brown, Chicken Nuggets and Iced Coffee/Frappe from McCafe
Ok so... In Thailand, they have the "Kra Pao." It's basically something stir-fried with basil leaves for some nice smell. (I know this. I'm a Thai. It's like a convenient dish to get. Easy to make and the taste's not dog-water either if you know the correct spice.)

I like how the service at every McDonalds is the same no matter where in the world! I wish here in the US we had several of these types of dishes, but I understand profit has to be made by the company, and here in the US while new recipes do come out, they usually don't last in the long run. I must say though, that the "Aloo Tikki Burger", the "Poutine" (which should be mainstream here in the US by now, instead of the northern border states), and the "shake-shake" idea would be awesome to put on the standard US menu!

Mac in India: no beef patties, lots of chicken and vegan patties
Mac in Indonesia: rice bowl in breakfast menu, hash browns made of fried rice instead of potato
Mac in Morocco: no pork, extended chicken menus, with chickpea sauce and soups
Mac in Italy: espresso coffee in breakfast, very tiny portion. 4 to 5 kinds of bread for choice, all in small size.
Mac in Spain: similar to Italy. Very thick and tasty hot chocolate.
Mac in France: reduced meat menus, extended salad menu. Smaller drink cups
Mac in U.K.: similar to the US, just smaller. No extra large drink cup
Mac in the US: unlimited fizzy drink, in extra large cup, almost the size of my forearm.

My favorite, McDonald's item, is in my home country (Philippines). The Shake Shake Fries with Cheese powder is so good.
Here in the UK, we have quite a few healthy items including the wrap of the day - yep you guessed it the wrap changes each day.

we have big mac here in malaysia but just the indians or people who dont take beef dont eat it . in malaysia there are no pork dishes or pork food inside mcdonalds .

Yep they do. I went to China for a holiday and most of the mcdonalds outlets serve bubble tea. Their coffees are also pretty good.
