Zymba's LSFYL this ep had the same problem for me as her lipsynchs in the Lalaparuza - she was doing too much! Where was Versex to call her out on this? Sometimes less is more, and the desperation in Zymba's performance detracted rather than added to the song, in my opinion. Tita Baby gave a master class on how to lipsynch a ballad, you connect with the emotion and project it to the entire audience. She looked into the camera and told all of us that she just wanted one more day. Zymba spent too much time trying to construct a stage so she can act out her play.
Really love that Maxie let the girls have it. As someone who is also an older sibling and both of me and my little brother are LGBT. Always had this fight or flight mode if I ever found out my brother's being bullied/ ostercized. So seeing her confront the girls resonates a lot to me.
Omg I’m so glad I bumped into your channel. We need more content like this giving cultural context/references and things that may have been lost in translation. You deserve more views!
Another great episode. Oh for Darna, they did the photoshoot for Darna in season 1 of Drag Race Philippines. I wish they would do a Zsa Zsa Zaturnah challenge too. Musical maybe? Hehehe!
the drag houses mentioned by Khianna in the mini challenge were the House of Drag Lords and House of La FeYa* (not sure of the spelling im so sorry) but the house of la feya is Hana Beshie's house where I think she is the mother, Khianna meant was she is like very close with those two houses and they support her journey in DRPH. I think you could learn more from Hana Beshie's vlogs and the instagram profiles of each house !
“I don’t feel any pressure right now” and then got pressured/stumped answering her Q&A 😂 that’s why her i-dont-feel-any-pressure answer has more impact and has become part of Pinoy pop culture if I may say
18:40 yes i kind of understand you but the 'pasabog' that zymba was doing also fits the song.. the white cloth is representing his father and her crying into it is like her mourning over his dead father, her asking to see him again for just one more day (excuse my grammar)
probem with Zymba her performance only serves energy but lack luster of story and emotion. Even her rhythm doesn't match to the music. Yes she can dance and acrobat but it's not in sync with the music. Without explaining the audience won't understand her performance.
Another addition to Vaklah Vocabulary: the term becky/beky/beks (as in TIta and Becky in the hosting challenge) all derive from "bakla." It is also used as a pun whenever Mama Pao says, "Welcome becks, ladies."
Brigiding has been a fixture and icon in Philippine drag since even before Drag Race was here so it makes sense why the other queens hold her to a high standard.
It was a really good episode and tbh I like the top 4. It was sad to see Zymba go but I am so thankful Tita Baby made it to the finale!!
Totally agree!!! What a fabulous Top 4! ♥ And thank you, as always, for watching!
This woman deserves a medal for doing this for the international fans! u go girl!

In the Drag Council segment you mention a 'tiff between Zymba and Brigiding' but I think you meant Zymba and Myx
I did 😅 And you're right I meant to say Zymba and *Myx hahaha
im subbing because everything was on point and that accent is smooth, love that for you babe not for me tho
Thank you ♥♥
Honestly I thought they’d do a top 5 and I really wanted it and I was SHOCKED they didn’t!
They really should've!!!
to be honest Zymba Ding is more Iconic and more talented than Brigiding ... I don't get why they keep saying she's only Brigiding's daughter ...
Brigiding has been a fixture and icon in Philippine drag since even before Drag Race was here so it makes sense why the other queens hold her to a high standard.
