Multi-Camera NDI test. Roblox Steven Universe roleplay / Gameplay. We have been working on doing a multi-camera setup for recording / streaming using NDI for last 2.5 months (on and off in spare time). The biggest challenge has been trying to get the audio the way we want it. Credit to Voicemeeter Banana and Cantabile software for being really good potential, but we couldn't get rid of the echoing problem we kept running into (due to multiple mics picking each other up and then some feedback loops etc).
This test was a back to basics and almost where we would like it. We probably are going to go with hardware mixer with built in compressor once we have the spare money to spent on it (my current mixer is long in the tooth and doesn't have that option).
Gabe's cam wasn't on because we just recently (today) kept running into issues where the OS kept crashing after a couple minutes. Evidently didn't like doing the NDI scan converter and el gato game capture at the same time for long. [we were using that to screen grab the camera, thiEye 4k action cam hooked in with camlink...surprisingly works, but very touchy and wouldn't recommend to people to try and do that for "webcam"]
Figured we would share this test both to give you all a glimpse of where we are heading for doing several of the kids at once and just quick fun vid.
