2016 is the 1969 of the 21st century. Our nostalgia is based in the revolution itself, rather than the evolution that came after. The FM radio classic rock evolution of the early 70's was a result of the late 60's revolution. The summer of '69 was the peak moment of that movment, because their collective consciousness became aware of the social climate...and the same thing happened with us. I believe that the late 2010's music was arguably better, but it arguably was not greater. Meaning, timing is important. Was rock music better in the late 1960's, in the early 1970's? What's more influential and or inspiring, the moment or the movement? The social media music revolution, led us into realizing that something was changing, and what I like to call the "SoundCloud to NoJumper" transition, was our moment of realization. An epiphany a revelation. Drake may not have been apart of it, but when he put it words, "all summer sixteen" it sparked the electricity and lit a light bulb in our minds. It was lit.
i always think about the soundcloud era. It’s just so weird thinking about everything now. i’m 22 now and it feels like yesterday when i was a freshman in high school playing don’t tell me. still my favorite song from fat nick

2015-2018 was definitely the Peak of SoundCloud Rap Era 🔥 , I graduated in 2016 Summer it was LIT 🔥!!! I remember All the Guys from the era that blew up I was listening to their music in High School and after I graduated. GREAT MEMORIES WITH MY HOMIES WILL FOREVER MISS THOSE DAYS THEY LIVE ON AND I CHERISH THOSE TIMES IN MY SOUL TIL I DIE ❤, I’m currently 26 in 2024.

We all need a friend like Kevin. Dudes such a good guy. We all have our faults but I’m happy him and Nick have each other. Reminds me of me and my best friend from middle school. That’s a life long bond.
SoundCloud era was the best man. Wow them days and everything back then was so fun and insane! Deep into my addiction and listening to sadboy shit. Now im 28 with 3 kids, work 5 days a week, own my own house and have a beautiful kind caring loving girlfriend. Feels like yesterday but i love and miss those days. Rip to everyone who passed back then and isnt here today to remeber this nostalgic era 💯

I LOVE your lyrics. I really believe you're one of the best out here. So underrated. I really think you're gonna break through the mold tho. You're too good not to. I play your music super loud everywhere I go so I can spread the good music. As a fan, I wanna see you succeed. People bop their heads and ask me what I'm playing and I'm more than happy to tell em lol Imma be the one telling them when we hear you on the radio "hey, remember this guy? He blew up!" Nothing but love from Texas. 💜
