The votes for Lib dem, partly were from the disappointing electorates who had been supporting Conservatives, it was relatively acceptable for them to shift to middle rather than to the left. Another key reason was, these potential voters were out of the red wall, mainly from the southern England, lib dem committing to handle the Southern Waters issue was one of its successful advocacy. Besides, the context of Reform evolution is surely important to understand the British politics, back in 2016, david cameron actually was a remainer, Conservatives did not actively put it forward as said in this clip. Furthermore,one may be new to the British politics, but the British Parliament is not new to the sino British diplomacy. it would also be helpful to retrieve those mp speeches and discussions in the past, many mps had been voicing out the issues hkers concerned. Paying more effort would definitely be useful.

Those who immigrated to UK for political reasons should be liberals. For them to side with reactionaries is really dumb. Just because you are anti CCP does not make you pro Reform UK.

移英香港人自組政黨係不切實際嘅諗法, 而且亦唔符合政治倫理, 我相信香港人既然已經選擇咗嚟到英國生活, 喺處理英國嘅政治議題時首先應該自覺英國社會一份子, 當審視政府決策時要從英國利益出發, 因為英國政府無必要為無歸屬感嘅外來人服務, 甚至乎犧牲英國利益同任何勢力對著幹, 所以在英港人要做嘅係令英國政府/政黨/社會明白到支持港人其實同英國嘅利益一致, 大家嘅價值觀亦相同相近, 咁樣做先至可以令政府推行對香港人更友善嘅政策

睇咗節目二十分鐘就冇再聽落去，因為有啲失望：如同某國某總統候選人一樣，某嘉賓係節目發言經常跳掣，重覆內容，答非所問；幸好另一位嘉賓能夠以自身專業給予意見。
我對上述第一位嘉賓係冇惡意／敵視，對於佢能夠成為英國第一位港籍官方地方政客時亦滿心喜悅，希望我觀察到既問題，只係一時問題，能夠得到改善。
