We are back! Sorry for the long delay, we had some nice time off from Van Building / Work / TH-cam to re-energize! Hopefully we'll be back to more regular uploads soon! Thanks for watching !
You are just brilliant. Can’t believe you even painted the brackets. First i was thinking why would you need heating pads for the tank and plus isolation??? But then i realised if you want to live in it all year around then you have to. Brilliant idea.
We'll see how it goes, hopefully it'll work, we want to be able to go up in the mountains for snowboarding season and don't want the cold to limit us where we can / can't go 😎
We have just binge watched all your videos and we want more lol I love how you explain in detail what and how you do things we have a Citroen Relay L4 H3 and we may do the same as you keep up the great work Summer is coming 😎
Hi, you put heating pads to water tank and little-bit insulated them but i am more worried about all water lines under the van (including water filling pipe if it stays partly filled with water). Did you insulate them too? If not then it would be good idea to add heating cable to them and cover that with pipe insulation
@@CasLaz Hi how did it went? How much temperature were you in and went everything well? I'm thinking of putting the fresh water tank under my van as it's a huge space saver but I am worried. :) thanks
You guys are catching up ! Not sure if it'll be a problem or not, I was worried about it rusting under the van so I thought it's best to give it a quick paint.
Hey Andy, Yeah i was worried about it too, it had a tiny leak at the start from the hatch, but after tightening the lid even more its fully sealed for now. I wouldn't recommend adding one of these to the fresh water for sure tough just incase.
I think you should have added the hatch to the top of the tank so you don’t have to deal with leaks. The vibration of the van could make that leak come back If you need to clean the tank then you would have to drop the tank to do that.
Hey we’ve got this tank. Wanted to ask what connection you used on the tanks main water outlet that goes to the pump? There’s no thread or anything so wondering what the best method is.
@@CasLaz hey. Just got the Speedfit fitting but it leaks a lot when connected up to the tank outlet. Did you use anything to seal it? We bought a pipe insert but it was too big.

Great job. We put ours up yesterday but didn't think to paint the brackets ☹

how did your access hatch on the waste tank hold up, I've heard others suggest that they do leak though could be fixing methods

Hi! I go over it in the Water System overview video, its a JG push fit connector 15mm to 12mm to the tank.
@@CasLaz thanks! These tanks really are cak aren’t they 😂
@@slowmadders Lol yeah they aren't great.. but we made it work 😂

Scratch that, I was being an idiot.
