- A duck named Mick was found in Toni's garage under her refrigerator. She had no idea how to help a duckling and had to do a lot of research in order to get him back onto his feet. Mick bonded with Toni and she helped him get used to the outside world before he finally decided it was time for him to go out on his own.

Muskovies are amazing waterfowl. They aren't actually ducks, and are closer to geese. They hiss and huff when they are happy and are extremely friendly.
Actually they are closer to ducks and can even hybridize with mallards or mallard derived duck breeds but the offspring are sterile.

You can tell so much about people by the way they interact with animals and how the animals act towards them !😂 Animals have a keen sense of good and bad and that instinct of " Danger " is through many thousands of years of evolution !I've had companion dogs for over 40 years since I was 12. I'm 74 and my babies gave me more love than I could ever give in return 😂❤😢😅

Mick is a lot like human kids. You want them to grow up and be independent, because that is what's best for them. But, even after they move out of the house, they still come back (Thank goodness!) and check out THEIR bedroom. So don't turn it into a gym or recreation room!

He doesn't live at home any more, but still comes over for dinner, bringing his best mates and potential girlfriends to be fed also! And no doubt brings his laundry over for Mum to take care of too!

I rescued a kitten 2010, The people that live there Deserted him. I took him as my pet ! He destroyed the Carpeting in my home being feral ! But I still love my little Pip . And always well !!!

That duckling, somehow, found just the right persons to save him and bring him up.
He sure does look happy, that's for sure.
As an aside, I love that stone work floor! I'm into warm colors and it is nice to see these Earth tone colors instead of the ugly grays that so many seem to use these days.
