The Hard Truth / Calling 911, CPS Calls, and Mom Guilt

This is a long video...but the message is important. This has been a HARD journey and this was very emotionally draining to film. Parents of children who are differently abled NEED access to these safe beds. When insurance consistently denies parents like us then it leaves parents scrambling to find solutions on their own. These solutions, while well meaning, often put the child at greater risk for potential harm without the parents even realizing it. Our situation could have been SO much worse....we thank the Lord each day that it wasn't. It was Mia Angelou who said, "When you know better you do better"..... our path has been very hard forged. I don't want any other Mama to go through what we have....there HAS to be a better way....our kids lives depend on it. Our prayer is that insurance companies listen and gain some much needed insight into what parents like us go through trying to keep our children safe..... #sleepsafebed #blindandautistic #terrifyingmoment
