You're welcome. And yes, I would recommend doing them daily for most people. I can't speak specifically to your case, but if they're worth doing at all, they're worth doing daily.
Good explanation that makes me understand why how I’ve been descending stairs to favor my knee has been making it harder on me. Will try the ankle exercises at the end.
Very many thanks Dr Candy. This is also another great exercise for my left ankle which we spoke about a couple of weeks ago. I did the exercises last night, then again tonight where I turn sideways on the stair and bend further forward and it really seems to work much better. In time I really do hope it all comes right as right now I’m still ‘flapping’ the left foot onto the ground, especially on a flat surface. Thank you so much.
Have tou ever heard about or would you suggest. Holding your foot towd your shin at night for helping with our foot flextion. The sell some strap to hold your foot towards shin. Dorsi?
There are a number of them, sold mostly for plantar fasciitis. They can work to increase ankle dorsiflexion to some extent, but they're also a bit uncomfortable. So generally, if you can use theme without disrupting your sleep, I'd say go ahead. If they keep you from sleeping restfully, it's probably not worth the small amount of increase in ankle dorsiflexion that they may provide.
Thanks for making this video. Would you recommend doing the ankle dorsi flexion and the strengthening exercises daily? Many thanks
