- I made and altered some of the drum patterns the day I arranged this track (January 8th, 2025)-and made most of the main sounds mid-junior year old HS. This song to me is the modern version (or simply my version) of “Origin Unknown - Valley of the Shadows.” I was originally going to put the first “melody” in “Gautamuh - Laconic” but thought it fit much better with this track-and good lord I was right (in my opinion). This song, and my songs “Synesthete on Thinking,” “Chimes on a Sword,” and “Spirits of the Dayumed” are my favorite tracks on this album (which is funny because my favorite tracks are half of the album but I guess it goes to show how much I love these tracks). When I made this I remember thinking “Good lord this is catchy,” and I was proud of myself for making ROLLING drum patterns and a complex rhythm that didn’t echo over itself unnaturally. Enjoy!
