    lebron james by all accounts has exceeded the hype. The jordan vs. lebron debate is almost pointless because no one in the history of the NBA, or even all of professional sports, has ever had the kind of hype lebron had as a 12 year old kid onward. Lebron James's life is the shit you would see in a movie and think "this has to be a fictional story" or something very loosely based on facts. Regardless of who is the GOAT, lebron is an extreme amongst extremes.

    LeBron James the last 3 NBA Finals:
    2015: First and only player in NBA History to lead BOTH teams in Points, Rebounds and Assists.
    2016: First and only player in NBA History to lead BOTH teams in every major statistical category (Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals & Blocks)
    2017: First and only player in NBA History to average a TRIPLE-DOUBLE in the NBA Finals.
    You can congratulate the Warriors, you can point the finger at certain players, you can complain about the officiating, but leave this man alone. He's leaving it all out there and literally giving us history every single season.
    LeBron lost to the better team this year, but just appreciate his greatness.

      Zeno Oh Sama You must be young or just full of shit. Jordan was 1-9 without Pippen and Grant then they got Rodman when Grant was gone. He couldn’t win a single ring without Pippen. The Celtics and Bad Boy Pistons dominated Jordan in the 80s and he only started winning when those teams were gone and when he got Pippen. People talk about how the East is weak now cause Lebron made 7 straight finals but Jordan played in the weak East as well. No team had 3 all stars with good role players like the Bulls. His supporting cast is underrated. Who was supposed to beat the stacked Bulls in the East, Reggie Miller and the Pacers or Ewing and the Knicks? Those teams were pathetic compared to the West teams.

    • @yoursilly2106
      @yoursilly2106 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kevin K well I'm sure if Jordan was in a conference as weak as lebron he could have gone to the finals every single time without pippen. Lebron is a ballhogger and not a team player. Just like if he goes to gsw, Okc, or the rockets, he make them worst cuz of his playstyle

He was used as a PG/Combo alongside guys like D Wagner, Larry Hughes, and Eric Snow. It wasn't until the addition of Mo Williams and Boobie Gibson that Lebron was truely able let go of most of the PG duties. But still Booz...

    Phil Jackson wasn't wrong and he wasn't stating anything _at all_ against Lebron's talent. He was merely stating against all hs players straight to the NBA, and most who are wise would agree w/ him now - that's why the rule of the last 14 yrs, that one must spend atleast 1 yr outside of high school.
    ..And February of 2002 wouldn't be in the mid of LeBron's jr year. The high school season is over by Feb.
    ..Darius Miles was 3rd overall pick in '00, coming out of high school & 19 yr old rookie. In '02-'03 season he was just 21 yrs old and still in development mode. Yes he turned out to suck, but at the time he was a very promising young sf & a highly touted talent. I think that's what Boozer was speaking about
    ..Smush Parker said LeBron "can make an *immediate impact* like Caron Butler - Butler was 3rd in RoY voting & won Rook of the Month 4 times. That's actually a huge compliment, to say that an 18-19 yr old rookie will have an immediate impact!
    [Considering the fact that Kobe wasn't impactful as a rookie and Kevin Garnett wasn't impactful as a rookie, nor ever any straight-out-of-HS rookie before Lebron]
    .....And what does Kobe Bryant have to say about Smush's basketball talent have to do with a damn thing w/ his stated opinion????? This fucking idiot talking breaks off on _ad hominems_ that have to do with nothing!
    .......wasn't Bobby Jackson as bad of a scrub by the way?? Yet he doesn't dismiss off Bobby Jackson.
    ...Also how is "Lebron is going to add to what we need! And make things a little easy.." ... Tell me how tf is that trashing someone?? Another compliment this moron is trying to twist.
    Honestly pisses me off how stupid this guy is.
    This commentator thinks that he can bullshit us .... when really gtfo

    OK was I was 24-25 years old in 2002/2003, so I remember it clearly and I was the age of a typical NBA player. NOBODY knew what LeBron was going to become. We all knew he had a freakish NBA grown man body for a high school kid, and he was very likely going to be an All-Star like Kevin Garnett, maybe a superstar like Kobe Bryant. But again, nobody knew for sure, there was talk he might be an NBA bust, not likely, but in the moment...who knows? You guys that were either not alive in 2003 or way too young are looking back in hindsight of your knowledge today. This is like me looking at videos of what people said about Michael Jordan in 1984 and laughing at them, and me acting superior because I have knowledge that NBA players, scouts and coaches in 1984 didn't have.

    I thought it was ALL 'hype' myself ... until l saw his 1st game against the kings (lronically ? ! ...) ... l was BLOWN AWAY !!! ... I had NEVER seen anything like lebron in my life ! ... l had the Direct-tv 'league-pass' at the time , l WOULDN'T MISS A GAME OF HIS THE WHOLE SEASON ! ... & the team was GA'BAGE & A BUNCH OF LOSERS , BUT HE WASN'T !!! ... l remember seeing his 1st 40pt game ... it was against new jersey (after they had been to the finals , so they were a top-shelf team) & they couldn't stop lebron , scorer or facilitator setting up teammates ! ... They came from behind & beat em & to take the lead he was going to the basket & somebody was hangin on his wrist when he DUNKED ! ... THE WHOLE ARENA GAVE HIM A STANDING OVATION , even the other team ! ... 👏👏👏👏 ... IF l hadn't seen it with my own eyes , l would've believed it ... l saw mik as a rookie & he had a better team , but he was just a scorer & more concerned about himself ... lebron from the get-go got EVERYBODY involved , that's why all his teammates loved him , everybody was RELEVANT ! ... That's why players to this very day want to play on his team ...
    I saw & remember Magic when he was a rookie & all the GREATNESS he was throughout his career ... & for most of my life he was The GREATEST ! ... Then along came LEBRON ... & 17yrs later after all the things l've seen with my own eyes (& he's still not done yet ??? ...) HE'S THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER THAT I'VE EVER WITNESSED !!! ... Love him hate him , But YOU CAN'T IGNORE HIM ! ... KING JAMES ... LONG LIVE THE KING !!! ... 👑👑👑👑

    I think it's funny that people say lebron is not better than Jordan because he is 3-4 in the finals while Jordan is 6-0 but the thing is that if Jordan played this warriors team he would have had 3 losses right there in the finals. Also lebron has never loss in the first round while Michael has. He needed pippen to help him win and if you guys say lebron needed to have a super team then I can argue Jordan needed one too. He had a great team around him bro. Also if you could rings then I guass Bill Russell is better than both

    HELL NO.. You defend your teammates. D-Miles was actually not far behind LeBron -- I'd be upset too if I worked my ass off to get to the NBA, just to hear about a hometown teenager "CHOSEN1" who might take your spot.

    If you've seen Lebron's doc "more than a game", there's a brief part where MJ, Kobe, and Shaq all fielded questions about Lebron while he was a junior in high school. None of them scoffed at his potential.

    Here's my top 3 NBA players of all time:
    1. LeBron James
    2. Kobe Bryant
    3. Michael Jordan
    I got respect for Jordan obviously but look at his team and the competition he had to face compared to kobe and lebron. LeBron is going up against the hardest league that's ever been seen. Kobe had to carry teams. Jordan had a superteam his whole career. And Kobe and LeBron were better passers than Jordan. LeBron is like a mix of Jordan, Magic, and Shaq.

    It pisses me off when people who have a platform like this guy does feel that it's ok to not even mention defense one time in the entire video. Offense is ONE HALF of a player's game. ONE HALF. DEFENSE IS THE OTHER. DONT FORGET! ITS JUST AS IMPORTANT IF NOT MORE IMPORTANT!

    NGL Lebron got robbed, so many MVP's he should've gotten and they didn't give it to him because it couldn't be Lebron everytime. This dude should've had atleast 8 MVP's, easily.
    NBA fucking robbed his MVP's.

    • @MecP3000

      Savage he should of had mvp and defensive player of year also at the same time but NBA wasn't going to do that

    • @ShotgunsCentral
      @ShotgunsCentral 7 ปีที่แล้ว +55

      Yep, pretty much like Jordan in the 90s, Jordan should have 10 MVPs but they got bored of giving him them every season. Same with Lebron

    • @HereIsRick
      @HereIsRick 7 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      No kidding. Derrick Rose winning MVP is one of the biggest jokes in the history of the NBA. The reason why the league wont let Lebron win anymore is because they are afraid that their long standing poster boy wouldn't be (incorrectly) considered the goat.

    • @KamiKarma006

    • @HereIsRick
      @HereIsRick 7 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Light Iverson for him it was good, for LeBron is would have been below average. He only was given mvp because the league didn't want LeBron to surpass their precious Jordan
