Jonghyun's death was so unexpected... Anyone who is a Kpop fan know about this group. I've never identified myself with any of the fandom because I like many groups & solo artists but I watched SHINee since their debut and his passing hurt as if he was a close friend. Thank you for reacting to them and every other group you watch.
Shinee was so consistent in their release and was present for so long that they were liked by all kpop fans. I think their personalities, having amazing songs and having baby taemin just made them be loved by everyon. I was always a vip but had shinee albums etc and like you knew them since debut and jonghyun death was so painful for me, maybe because we all knew how nice he always was and maybe because we all love shinee in our own way and relate to them.
Anyway thank you to everyone who loves them and let's always spread love like jonghyun ❤️
Marieliz Maldonado you are a multi-fan since you like many groups and solo artists, like many of us do! And yes my forever precious angel death effected me so much I cried and depressed for almost 2 months everytime I watch now I can’t help but it tear up for my babies!

BTS trash Army/Exo-l/Shawol I know the feeling very well, being a lone kpopper in my family. Since they are too super close-minded I don’t have really anyone to talk to but I’m happy that I’ve been able to count on the Kpop community to talk to and be friends with b/c we share the same love for Kpop music!

Lucifer was the song that introduced me to kpop and was quite literally a turning point in my life for the better. SHINee has the most special place in my heart. They are extremely important to kpop and they’re highly respected by both kpop groups and fans alike. Rarely every do you hear a bad word about SHINee. It’s just not possible, really, lol.
And thank you for the respectful reactions. Jonghyun’s death was a huge blow for so many people and so unexpected. I’m still grieving almost a year later. He was a beautiful person and a passionate musician who was very intelligent, kind-hearted, and outspoken about his beliefs. His picture should be next to the word ‘virtuoso’ in the dictionary because that’s quite literally exactly what he was.
I suggest checking out his last 2 songs, Shinin’ and Before Our Spring which were released posthumously. His voice was an instrument in itself and I think you’ll understand what I mean when you hear it.

FutureASLInterpreter I’m getting to this really late but where did I say TVXQ wasn’t important or that I haven’t listened to them? Nowhere lol. TVXQ is important to kpop and are legendary, but so are SHINee. Bold to assume I don’t listen to other groups when I’ve been in the kpop fandom for over half a decade lmfao. This video was about SHINee so of course I’m going to talk about them instead of TVXQ. I’d talk about TVXQ on a TVXQ video.
No need to apologize for being silent during this song it shows respect, in fact during their live shows with this song the usually loud audience is very respectfull.
"Our Page" makes me cry every time honestly.
Shinee's got a lot of diversity in their style, they've done a lot over the years, so if you go back through their songs you'll find lots of different things in there. I'd recommend "Everybody" and "Why So Serious"

Onew really is a great leader. SHINee went through so much from the wgm taemin scandal to onew and Minho getting hooked on smoking to Jonghyuns ongoing fight with depression and taemin debuting at 14. They’ve always done well and you can tell that onew has led them well. He’s so kind and gentle and he doesn’t mind embarrassing himself for the well being of the other members. Every member said that they go to onew when they need someone to listen even if he forgets later because he’s an old man. 😂 I miss when we were a calm and happy fandom. Those were the days.
The song was actually a letter to Jonghyun, the lyrics are addressing everything and how proud they are of him, how much they love him and how they'll never forget him. They're continuing as SHINee so that his memory is never forgotten. SHINee is such a strong, beautiful group.
Shinee really is super important to Kpop. Their live concerts are fricken amazing. I would definitely react to some of their concert performances as they are the best.
Also, it would be really neat to watch Jonghyun's videos too as he was one of the most-well known idol-producers in the industry. He has written for many artists and was so creative and talented.
Live Performances? I would say Replay (from Shinee World IV), Excuse Me Miss, and Like a Fire are probably the most famous ones. Shinee World videos are always the best. But Woof Woof is really fun and I love An Encore. For Jonghyun's videos I'd recommend She Is, Lonely, Y Si Fuera Ella, and Crazy to start.

I love your reaction videos because you guys are always very genuine. I find that a lot of reaction videos are just people looking for attention or trying too hard to be funny or react in a certain way but I really appreciate how you two are honest with your words and seem to have a true interest in kpop and really want to learn as much as you can. As a Shinee fan and someone who loves and misses Jonghyun very much I also appreciate how you responded to Our Page, and especially your comments about how important it is for a group to carry on even when there is a loss...keeping that hope, and doing things in their honor. Certainly as fans we are doing this everyday in order to keep Jonghyun’s memory alive and remind everyone how special he was and eternally is.
Also I really recommend that you react to Married To The Music by Shinee. This song has Jonghyun in it and is more recent than Lucifer (it came out in 2015) and the music video is really creative and fun, plus the song is super catchy.
I know this comment is long, but as you mentioned, every Shinee member has amazing vocals. I also recommend you react to their performance of Please Don’t Go at Shinee World 5. This song is a duet between Onew and Jonghyun, and it is really really beautiful.

Lucifer was my very first kpop song/video. SHINee was my first bias group and have such a special place in my heart. Jonghyun's passing was rough and I still can't quite grasp that it is real. Watching the video for Our Page makes me tear up every time, including in reaction videos like this. Don't apologize for being silent, this song just lends itself to that with how heartfelt it is. I can't even imagine the members (or other bands/groups that have lost members) could handle it and still go on making music to honor that member. But I am thankful that SHINee is together and helping each other move on and doing what they love.

Jonghyun was one of the greatest vocalists in k pop and 'that guy' with the hair is Taemin possibly the best dancer. More Shinee and Taemin and Jonghyun please. Shinee is one of the greatest kpop groups of all time and are still on top after 10 years. They are truly amazing

i respect you guys for not being overly sad or pitying bc a lot of people do that even if they never knew shinee before, and as a person who literally grew up with them from their debut onwards this was just..nice. also shinee has so many bops u can literally react to all of them and they will all be amazing lmao. ring ding dong is legendary so i recommend that and then who waits for love is my favourite of the newer ones. ALSO check out TVXQ! They're the one's who got me to kpop like.. 11 years ago or something, with their song Balloons!

Please react to more SHINEE. They are undeniably one of the most talented groups in kpop. They’ve explored a vast amount of genres and styles through out their careers I think you guys would really enjoy checking out more.
A group that has had a similar impact as SHINee is INFINITE. They are the reason groups put such a big focus on dancing in sync. You should do a double feature for them as well if you could.
This reaction was so respectful and sweet thank you guys for doing it so beautifully. I wasn't a shawol until about a year before his passing and it still hit hard. Y'all should check out some of Jonghyuns music too I think y'all will like it. Poet|Artist was released after his death and the proceeds were given to his mother to help her set up a foundation for people who are struggling.

Our page was the first song I heard from shinee and even tho I didn’t understand what they were saying I cried because I just felt it, the emotions. I can‘t describe it..

ahh im so glad you finally checked out SHINee...... they actually dropped a new music video last sunday called 'countless' and it's Great, but apart from that literally every song they've made has been amazing. '1 of 1' and 'married to the music' especially are two of my personal favorite title tracks since the music videos are so much fun ! SHINee is one of those groups that has done tons of different concepts and genres and it's amazing to see how they've developed. as a short list, they've so far done:
r'n'b: 'replay' (their debut song)
tropical house: 'view', 'i want you' (though the two are Very different)
70's disco/ 80's funk-ish: 'married to the music'
retro/ 90's: '1 of 1'
EDM: 'everybody'

This year it was their 10th anniversary! And yes, they're indeed an iconic group, trying new stuff with every comeback, you won't find any similar song/concept/style among the discography.
Two of their members also have solo stuff, Taemin and Jonghyun, you should check their stuff too~

SHINee is the most impressive in their live performances....a true marker of raw talent that's been finely honed after a decade. Please check out more of SHINee's songs from Replay, their debut song, Ring Ding Dong, iconic and still a bop, Everybody, the most intricate and difficult dance video...... Their discography is extensive and amazing and they change their sound and concept so much that you would not be faulted for thinking it was a different band each time. Except their voices, especially Onew, is so distinctive and recognisable but never boring.
lucifer was my first shinee song and i fell i love with their music. i was only 12 back then and used to almost exclusively listen to metal but shinee completely changed my style in music. i love that shinee always try new genres and make such unique music. they all have such unique and pretty voices and you can really hear whos singing because they all sound so different. their performances are stunning. shinee is simply the best band in the world to me, nothing will ever come close
SHINee throughout the years have literally just grown (music, visuals, dance wise) and like accelerated in the kpop industry. Thanks for reacting to our boys. I always had faith that SHINee would stay together forever. They didn't always have the strongest bond but they grew together, learned from each other, and became each other's support and truly their family. Though one member may not physically be there anymore, they stayed together as 5 and I'm so glad and proud to be their fan.
I've been a kpop fan since 2009 and shinee were my second bias group for me. (first it was big bang) I owe a lot to them. Lucifer was one of my top favorite songs, MV & album for me. That album helped me through my own struggles. I've watched them over the years. There's just so much memories with them so it was such a shock what happened. it still hits me now and then. jonghyun was insanely talented. You definitely need to check out his solo work as well as the other members. shinee as a whole have so much amazing music they've made over the years and I feel so blessed to be their fan.

Thank you for the reaction. Jonghyun passing is very hard to a lot of Kpop fans. His songs give strength and comfort to us ( a lot of songs that he wrote are about struggle etc) but we could not comfort him during his weakest days. You did well Jonghyun ah.

Thank you for reacting to SHINee, they have been my light and hope for over 5 years now. Lucifer was the first video I saw of them. Jonghyun's passing is the hardest thing im still going through and it will always be hard. I hope you check our his song "Shinin'" and "Before our Spring" which was released after he passed. Before Jonghyun passed, he thought about fans first of course like he always did, he made sure that he finished filming Shinin' (leaving a message of goodbye and hope within the video) and had finished his tour which was days before he lost his battle his depression. He was suffering so much for a while and he didn't hide it, he mentioned it a lot in his music and you can see in his performances dedicated to songs as such. Im just happy he doesn't feel that pain anymore. He means the world to so many people, especially me, and he was such a talent that can never be replaced. I hope you check out his other works too! Jonghyun was the type of person whose kindliness, purity, empathy shined from his very being, he was so pure and good....not too many people like that in the world and unfortunately we lost another genuine kind soul. His last message on his album said "We can be together in this space, while being on the other side of the earth. We can be together at any time, not just at 12 o'clock. Physical matters certainly remained indifferent in our space. I only hope for this to never cease. I hope this space that belongs to you & me, be the site for anyone to rest in tranquility. I hope for our memories to rise as reminiscences and embrace you like no other. This is dedicated to those who have created our space together. Thank you"

every kpop group say's thet take each other as family but everyone,idols or fan how SHINee takes their relationship to highest level...they are Family...they literally raise Taemin (he was 11 when trained and 14 when they debut,one of the youngest who debuted in kpop history) and grow together...lived together,spend time togethermore than with their family as they stated,Onew even cooked food for Taemin and iron his Elementary uniform for him...they've been for one another in times of sickness,happiness and even when the youngest Taemin was bullied in School they take him to school everyday...Jonghyun even stated that SHINee is his everything...their love for each other is knownto each and everyone in kpop industry...Taemin was even named/voted as most love Maknae while Onew was voted by co-idols as the first and only Best Leader of the Year for taking extra super good care of the members...what happen to Jjong is just too deep it roots from his childhood before he even debuted and he even mention that SHINee and his sister and mom is the only thing that keeps him going...but still,noone can question SHINee's love for each other...thank you for reacting on Our Page and SHINee...

Here’s some info on SHINee
SHINee is a contemporary R&B 5 member group, whose songs are also EDM, funk rock & hip hop. They are under contract with SM Entertainment and are considered the 2nd generation of K-Pop and debut in 2008. (Other trainees at that time ie: Suho & Kai from EXO didn’t debut until 2012.) Each member has their own unique vocals, their solos stand out and their harmonies are one of the best. Jonghyun was the lead vocal (passed away Dec ‘17), Onew (also sings opera), Key, Taemin (he debut at 14 because of his dancing but in the beginning he didn’t sing much because his voice was changing LOL, he became a strong vocalist with a lot of hard work) and Minho. Taemin is the main dancer of the group. They are considered, even now, to be one of the best live vocals, performers with complex dance routines.
They have won many Korean and international awards for their music, dancing and popularity. K-pop is now very popular in the US and internationally, the 3rd generation groups like SM Ent.’s EXO & NCT, also BTS have gained a greater audience. These groups looked up to SHINee and learned from them and many dancers ie: NCT’s Ten & JiSung, BTS’ Jimin all stated they were inspired and looked up to Taemin as a dancer.

Just another point about the second vid you guys watched:
It shows each of the Shinee members doing what they normally do on their scheduled dayes or trying at least. You can see that at work they're emotionally and physically drained but here they are trying to make everything work for not just us their fans but for their families, themselves and for the one and only Kim Jonghyun. The first person to appear is Lee Jinki or is preferred and stage name, Onew. He is the leader of this amazing team, in the begining it shows him sitting in his little studio trying to make new music but looks frustrated. The next person that shows up is Choi Minho the second youngest of Shinee, Minho is also an actor and on his scene you can see that he is getting ready for his upcoming film but his face shows that he is just lost in thought. The next person that shows is Lee Taemin, the maknae or the BABY of the group. Taemin heads off to the gym but you can see that he can't even start training because he has something in his mind. And lastly, Kim Kibum or his stage name Key.Hes playing video games which is something is highly unlikely not to do yet hes doing and looks annoyed, tired, angry and sad. This video portrays that SHINee will still work hard as well as even though they may be doing their own solo activities they will always be one and when they are ONE they are safe.
We Shawols love you SHINee and we do hope that you two start listening to the rest of their amazing music. I promise you, you won't regret it!!!

yall should check out the dance practice for lucifer. you can really see the work that goes into it. you don't realize how consistent the dancing is without the breaks like in the video. i wish the culture over the wasn't so mental health hateish. like you are looked down upon when you admit that there is an issue. i wish the fandoms weren't so intense with their artists either. there is so much hate when you have someone that is born somewhere, they are dating someone or anything that don't THINK they should have done. its as if they forget that they are people too, and deserve to have a life that is away from us. they arent our entertainment slaves, they doing this at first because they have talent. i wish in tears before you even started 'Our Page'. losing Jonghyun so suddenly, and then to see the letter he had written before he passed it breaks your heart. You see just how alone these artists must feel, and this is something I wish would change so much.

I've been a fan of SHINee since I was 11, after seeing their first song the day it came out in 2008. Seeing them perform with only 4 is... surreal I guess? It's strange and scary and most of the time it doesn't feel real. The day I found out the news I kept praying and praying that it was fake. Seeing others joyfully getting ready for christmas after something like this happened made me angry and all I wanted to do was stay in my room and sleep, hoping I would wake up and he'd be back. The times I've spent staring off into space wishing the world would go away are many. If I, someone who is just a fan and didn't have a personal relationship with Jjong, feel like this, I genuinely can't fathom what his band mates, his brothers truly, feel. Jonghyun was kind and caring, and he could light up a room just by being in it. He cared for his family and his friends so much even til the end. He was a pessimist, but he was also a romanticist that felt love in so many things. He was a brother, a son, one of the best vocals of our time, an author, an artist, a friend, a shoulder for our worries, and he was and is our pearl aqua moon. I'm happy and warm inside seeing people react to SHINee and see that they realize how much the world lost when we lost him.

Jonghyun was a beautiful artist, you know? He commited suicide and just after his death, people discovered how much he was suffering(kpop has a terrible dark side and the fame too). Shinee is made of five members and Shinee will made of five members forever. I think what the boys want to say is... Don't forget Jonghyun, the fifth member and the boy who was their leader, who looked after them, who was an idol with a beautiful artist soul, who was a brother of them.
Shinee means so much to me, especially Lucifer as it was the first kpop song I fell in love with

Actually SHINee are the one who make dance practice trend after 2010.
