- Taking a look at the Shirogorov Astrum "Sinkevich Touch". I give you my initial impressions and overview of the knife while comparing it with other popular models. #knive #knives #edc

Dude I got to be completely honest, I'm not normally an envious person but I am envious and jealous of you because of the knives you get to handle and that come across your table🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate that!
Nice, BZ.👍
Thanks 👍
I had my eye on this one, but honestly, I had to put an unusual amount of time into breaking in my OG Magnacut Astrum, as well as a few disassemblies to get the blade centered. Eventually, I won...but I also inquired about returning the knife before fooling with it.
The Astrum is my favorite Shiro so far and I carry it every day, but I'm not sure that I want to spend another grand + and then spend two months working on the next one. At these prices, the action and blade centering should be correct out of the box. Just my opinion.
The design is solid. The execution is lacking. Heck, if you look at the latest offering at the US distributor, you can see that the M390 Astrum pictured has an off-centered blade. It's no wonder why they aren't selling many Shiros at R1. I've bough nearly a dozen int the last twelve months, and a full 1/4 of them have had trailer park problems (like off-center blades and lock stick). If you take the time to reach out and ask them NOT to send you a screwy one, they still send you a screwy one.
Shiro is not going to get away with this for much longer. They either need to get their crap together, or start selling these knives at CRK prices.
