Another great video. Started as a 3.0 player and might be at 4.0 now and your videos have been the most helpful. I’ve seen you cover details no one else does that make a big difference. Wishing you luck with your CBRN sponsorship, tournament play, and coaching in general!
I love your dinking and 3rd shot drop videos! Replay them over and over. As a good tennis player I came into PB cocky thinking it was easy. My serves, returns, drives and volleys were great from the beginning. Get me into a dinking rally with 4.0 and above and I would get so frustrated and would lose most of the points. Thank you for making me understand this game finally!
This vid has helped me massively for the past month. I always thought dinking forward was the best. My thought was that the shortest possible dink was the best to hit but I win way more drink rallies by forcing the cross-court dink and I understand now what an "aggressive" dink is, I never knew that could be a thing. Also it's greatly helped me to know to not always force the cross-court if I'm out of position
Good tips. I’m always flying off the court to get a ball! Makes total sense to have a base and just reach for it, and then get back to a good base. I love the foot drag too. Thanks for this. Trying tomorrow ❤️☀️
Your footwork tip is great. Being very tall, i originally just leaned, causing bad stroke form. Next I started crab walking which is way too slow. Now I'm shufflestepping which is much faster but still interferes with my backhand stroke form especially. Can't wait to implement your final foot drag suggestion, along with your many other great tips.
Great tips Tanner. I would like to see you play doubles and use those tips with taking them out of the air so often. I really don't see that when I watch the pros.
Another good video. What I'd like to see/ask is how you would deal with a speed up against you when you're set up the way you are.....I get how you would speed up, but how would you quickly adapt to being attacked?
Tanner, you have done surgery on pickleball and you expose all the innards. I feel guilty taking all of these treasures for free. I need to be a subscriber.
Constantly leaning into the kitchen is exactly how you get lobbed off dinks, repeatedly. There's a fine balance, but you shouldn't ALWAYS be reaching into the kitchen.

pressurized zone aren't they taking it out of the air?
Not if you move the ball around the court!
@@tanner.pickleball Thanks tanner, this is the hardest part of the game for me to execute.. going to try to implement these tips asap!

Which video?
@@tanner.pickleballnevermind, I think my phone was just glitched 😂

You should ALWAYS lean into the kitchen when you recognize you hit an aggressive dink!
Listen Tanner I'll have you know I'm a solid 3.5 rec player, I know what I'm talking about.
