You have a really good voice for this. I'm 32, so the loli voice that some of these RP VAs use makes me uncomfortable, and the to be honest the sultry sexy voice others use kinda breaks my immersion, no way am I gonna be with someone like that. but your voice sounds like, girl next door comes to mind, but maybe not the right words. Anyway, your voice is that sweet spot for me, so I can really get into it. Also, I know the youtube algorithm isn't kind to content creators that don't upload constantly, so I the longer videos are hard since they take so much time and effort, but I really appreciate these longer videos, I have trouble getting emotionally invested in the short ones. I also like how your stuff isn't just the cutesy girlfriend snuggles and kisses on the listener, your stuff seems more real, like how life is kind of messy with ups and downs. Your acting is really fantastic as well, I really hope this is the start of something really good for you.
Anyway, keep up the good work, you have yourself a new listener.
Thanks so much!! Hearing that is actually very affirming; I'm aware my voice doesn't fit within the typically coveted range of "cutesy" or "sexy" that most folks gravitate towards, so it's nice to know people are able to get something somewhat unique out of it in that sense!
A lot more goes into longer audios, but I feel they're usually worth it for the exact reasons reasons you mentioned- I also just tend to get ahead of myself while script writing~ I have a few shorter ones I plan on sprinkling in, but since I often lean towards developmentally-heavy stories I imagine most of my future audios will remain on the lengthier side.
I'm glad to hear you enjoy the little pumps of grit I add in, haha! Sometimes you need to get a glimpse of the messy shit to appreciate the positives, so it's great to know the intended affects are coming through! Thank you again very much for your comment, it made my day!
@@GingerbreadPigge Your reply really showcases probably my favorite part of interacting with smaller channels. Heart reacts are nice, but it's really gratifying to get an actual comment back. Obviously I don't expect a comment back on every single one of mine, but getting a nice thoughtful reply like this occasionally, and seeing you interact with other commenters is really nice. I deal with a lot of anxiety so hearing that something I said to a total stranger made their day really makes mine.
