I would like to be hugged like that. Only one guy ever hugged me in a way I really liked. I felt safe and cared for. Well never date but that doesn’t matter. If I ever have another boyfriend that’s how I want him to hug me. I’d like to be picked up and swung around but I doubt that will ever happen.
Ben reminds me of Mr. Darcy in that last scene. Just the way he looks at Felicity with such love in his eyes, and how he's always been a bit socially awkward around her. And also how he's soft-spoken around her. So cute!!!!
They are! He doesn't feel calm around her and makes him think about things, moreover it was not the kind of girl he would have dated...lots of similarities
I feel the same way. I have rewatched this show a lot of times, but not the last episodes. We're doing a rewatch now, so when we get there, it will be my first time seeing the last 6 episodes in a while.
This was such a great moment and a great way to bring things full circle. "You were right. It was my turn." How funny that this was the real series finale and the network ordered more episodes after they had already filmed this so that is why we got a 2nd finale featuring Noel's wedding as the backdrop. I am thankful that was awesome too...especially the Megan/Felicity hugs & tears. Who would have thought those two would become like sisters? I was just starting college when this show aired so it is very special to me.
I just binged this show and this definitely is the real ending to me. The other episodes are just like a bonus, as someone else said. Almost like fanfiction come to life.
They'd designed it as the series finale because the previous season they had their order cut from 22 to 17 episodes and if I recall correctly had only received an order for 13 with an option for the back 9 based on the performance of the fall episodes. Fearing they would not receive the full 22 episodes again and knowing that seeing her graduate was important to the creators from a thematic angle they chose to treat the 17th episode as a series finale. Then theWB notified them later in the season that they'd been happy with the ratings and that they were ordering the full 22. having mapped out the remaining episodes the writers sat and came up with a "what if" idea which is what the final set if episodes are. I thought it was ballsy and an incredible idea considering the genre the show was and it gave them some things to try without it necessarily overwriting what the finale did or hurting the integrity of the show.
@@millerkatz1463 Thanks for sharing that in detail here. From what we can gather, it seems like people who know the context of the 17 vs. 22 quandary tend to be more able to relax into watching the last 5 episodes and be okay with it being its own journey.
I figured out a way they could explain Elena. It was all Felicitys dream in the end…not just the time travel. Everything. It ended with Ben saying it was his turn and Felicity had the dreams so she knew Noel would find someone else and she would be fine without him and he would be fine without her. I was team noel…still am. But it’s the only thing that makes sense. How could noel and Elena both be alive in the end? My favorite show ever please no reboot…so afraid they will ruin it…there aren’t any good fan fiction stories…just let it end happy for once no drama please!
Ben always hugged her like he was about to be deployed. They were so in love. I am also so pleased and thankful that Keri and Scott were able to be professional and keep their chemistry even after their real life breakup.
📺 would love to see the show put back on television and I would like to see it on cozi TV network, this show was just way to wonderful to take off the air too soon. This is one of those shows that, I will love forever even though it's not on anymore.
The series should have ended here. It was so perfect. Ben realizing she was right....it was his turn to follow her. But then The WB decided they wanted four more episodes. But I did love the wedding in the series finale and the "moments" with the group.
Love this! To me this will always be the ending of the series! That was the original plan before the CW threw those last episdoes on them at the last minute. I loved Ben and Felicity!!
Agreed, but it is easier to go with the flow for those episodes when you know that the network tacked them on. They had to have her graduate, so I'm happy we got this episode.
The show Felicity is very much alike the movies Bridget jones diary and Ben reminds me so much about Mark Darcy and Noel is for sure so much alike Jack (Patrick Dempsey character in the last movie) it just came to me now specially because she recorded everything she experienced with a tape band and talked to sally a little similar like Bridget did with her writing down everything she’s been through SO SIMILAR!!!!!!!
Just finished watching the whole show and I firmly believe that this should have been the ending scene. I don't like how they keep on dragging the story for five episodes.
They didn't have a choice. The network ordered more episodes. They were probably contractually obligated to comply. But, even if they didn't have to...as a show runner, you want to keep a good relationship with a network so that they are more inclined to work with you on other projects.
My understanding is that the network told them up front that season 4 would be their last season and it would either have 17 or 22 episodes. They were testing out another show. The showrunners wanted to make sure she graduated, so they gave us this ending...but then they got the extra episodes.
Wait, so Lauren had to move away from her family and friends helping her in Arizona with the baby, because it was Ben's "turn" to go where Felicity wanted to be? Eh... yeah. Convenient for Felicity, but that would never have happened. Still love that show :-) - and Ben and Felicity have the best hugs ever.
I'm going to miss this show and I always knew she would end up with Ben.
I love how the two Scotts are both tall and have great shoulders. Felicity always received greats hugs.
Ben and Felicity always hugged liked he was going away to war :) So glad the chemistry didn't change after Scott and Keri broke up
I would like to be hugged like that. Only one guy ever hugged me in a way I really liked. I felt safe and cared for. Well never date but that doesn’t matter. Best show ever .terrific actors .funny, smart dialogue .love Ben and felicity true love about compromise and patience
You're right. Best show ever - it ended too soon.

Maybe that's why I love Ben so much, he resembles Mr Darcy. Thanks for pointing it out, I had never thought about him that way!
+Roser Gomez, I hadn't either until just now. But the similarities are there! Lol
They are! He doesn't feel calm around her and makes him think about things, moreover it was not the kind of girl he would have dated...lots of similarities
+Roser Gomez, yeppers! 😋
I am re-watching the show I still think this is the best show for teenager that has been ever done!
Those were the days, back when the WB was still a network. Tv shows had much more quality and were so realistic. I miss those days.
+kroakie4 Yes, I think they were in in a point in where they wanted to not be that much stereotypical.
I agree!! This show made me want to go to college!
Felicity Porter. Sweetest person ever. Great work of Keri Russell. I guess it was first time I really fall in love.
Love contrasting her with Elizabeth Jennings on The Americans lol
And this is the ending for me. The rest of the episodes are just like bonus episodes. Sort of like bonus tracks.
I feel the same way. I have rewatched this show a lot of times, but not the last episodes. We're doing a rewatch now, so when we get there, it will be my first time seeing the last 6 episodes in a while.
If anyone is wondering about the last song it’s “Waiting” by Marien Ord

I always loved the Megan and Felicity dynamic.
Same here - the show hits in an even more special way if you were in college at the time.
@@fbueller Me too. I like that kind of friendship. Respect and understanding always. ❤
i suddenly felt re watching videos of Ben and Felicity. it was a long journey for both of them but it was worth it in the end.:)
Agreed!
write me a letter, send me a tape .....my how times have changed.
True, true.
I just binged this show and this definitely is the real ending to me. The other episodes are just like a bonus, as someone else said. Almost like fanfiction come to life.

I need hugs like this

I love the friendship she and Noel has formed together after everything they been through together!!!!!!
I love the 90’s
There are so many memories attached to Felicity! Love all about it
You can see on Felicity now how grown up she’s become she’s not the same naïve person she was when she first met him I love this new Felicity!!!!!!!!!
📺 would love to see the show put back on television and I would like to see it on cozi TV network, this show was just way to wonderful to take off the air too soon. This is one of those shows that, I will love forever even though it's not on anymore.
Coz it's relatable. Reminds us our HS days and College escapades
Such a good looking man. Hope he gets some new acting parts soon.
This TV series is good because it has a certain nostalgia and "soul" as opposed to e.g. Gossip Girls (I might have forgotten the title).
I fantasize of going to NYU because of Felicity. Lol
Love it!

This series was so damn good. Because it spoke to me so well when I was in university. Those first few episodes were particularly strong.
Love this! To me this will always be the ending of the series! That was the original plan before the CW threw those last episdoes on them at the last minute. I loved Ben and Felicity!!

His style is just SHOWING UP IN FRONT OF HER!!!!!!! He’s always been like that!!!!!!!!!
It works

I hated the whole Lauren situation. I wish it was not a part of the plot.
I didn't mind Lauren adding to the drama up until the baby part. I hated the idea that she got pregnant.
This should've been how it ended.
Yes! Agreed
Noel’s gaze ❤ #4everTeamNoel
Yes!! I still can’t believe she didn’t pick him!!🥺
Melhor série... Ever
Pre 9/11 when you could see people off at the airport! #SimplerTimes
Remember when airports allowed non passengers to go all the way up to the gate? Man those were good times.
Yes!!!
How the series should have ended!!!!
Why haven't I purchased these DVDs yet?!! Am I crazy? I LOVED this show! What's wrong with me, lol!
Thanks, so much, for posting!
+Peaches Monroe Amazon, E-Bay both have sets available.
Hulu!!!!! The only reason I got it haha
Love them
I was re-watching this series online, and I'm wondering if this song is the original one used from when the series aired back in the 90's?
yes dame exact song! still love it too

Ben and Felicity have the best hugs ever- my favorite too
GOOD LORD THIS MAN IS FOINE
Lmfao!!
when i was watching this i thought im watching the last episode
Same here.
Felicity Ben Medschool
Hulu uses a different song(they probably didn't have the rights to this one). I prefer the song Hulu uses, the mood fits the scene better.
Same here!!
Can somebody tell me what’s the name of the song and who sang the song?
This was supposed to be the end although it was weird her becoming a doctor
But the final episodes were extremely out of place and stupid

She should have picked Noel! 🥺
