Dimitrov's renaissance has been jawdropping. He's even beating players that he doesn't normally beat or has a bad record against. It's great stuff and I hope he can keep it going... fingers crossed he can take it further and reach his first slam final, whether here at Wimbledon or some other slam down the road.
I feel like Dimitrov pretty much achieved what he deserved he never seemed like he deserved any slam he ever played in, there were always at least 2~3 different players that clearly played better
In this age of fist pumping arrogance and intimidation, what a pleasure it is to watch Grigor Dimitrov play the game. What a blessing it is to see some old fashion humility and respect toward one's opponents while in the middle of a tight match. I give him his due appreciation.
@@fallingstones2396 They fist pump and look at their box for approvals. Yes after opponent's double faults or unforced errors. Today's players are so freaking insecure they have to celebrate every single point won like they won a set or even a match.

Dimitrov keeps knocking on the door of grand slam , my opinion maybe this wimbledon is finally his first title.😊 with this play of this level his strength as well as skill is as well as federer. So see if I’m right about it
Why would he not bring his A game? It's kinda now or never in his career. From what I see, Demitrov stayed very aggressive throughout and Monfis can't handle that level of game.
Monfils already committed himself to being on the Bahrami tour several years ago; still good for getting through a few rounds of GS tournaments though.
@Wimbledon Mgmt Well, I wouldn't call this sort of vid Highlights. It's more a teaser with heavy spoilers. 😅 It would be nice to have some good highlights without spoilers (in thumbnails and text) for people who can't watch (why ever) the whole match. I even can wait a day for such a highlight if that's what is needed to not get in the way of your money making. Kudos to Dimitrov
Just like the ATP is filled up with Rafa Nadal impersonators who usually lack one or two the charasteristics that Nadal has to become the full package, Dimitrov is the example of what happens when a player has all the abilities of a Roger Federer but the mental fortitude to keep playing the same level throughout the whole match. Unfortunately, all ingredients are needed.
Dimi is pure class on and off court! What an amazing performance !
And he has the game to match.
Definitely the best class player just behind Roger, that is why everyone calls him Baby Federer...
Dimitrov and Wawrinka backhands are still impeccable

Really hoping and praying Dmitrov wins Wimbledon '24... He deserves this one after years in the wilderness despite his game and athleticism.
I vote for him.
Nobody deserves nothing. In sport there are no beauty awards

He is in the wrong part of the draw. In the other half he could have gone to the final
People might compare him to Fedrer but Dimitrov has his own beauty. Some players just naturally move with elegance.

This guy is pure pleasure to watch. So is Monfils. Two old school players without the ridiculously annoying fist pumps AFTER every damn points.

Monfils and his final 1 hand BH shot to close the game 😂
It's like f**k it
Yeahhhh he is a 2 hander....My thoughts exactly he just wanted to get it over with
Monfils in a nutshell
99% of the time would rather trick shot than scramble to win
He injured his hand and played a couple more before the match point
@@martinzahariev4420 Yes he twisted his wrist on that slip while chasing down the shot at 3-3 break point down. I hope it's not another career threatening injury because he's getting old
anyone who doesn't like watching Grigor playing, doesn't really enjoy tennis..
Thanks for the crappy highlights... But leaving out the handshake? That's just wrong....
Watch the matches.

No the hand shake would make it 4min long.

Dimitrov Is doing great
god wimbledon is following suit of roland garros. 3 minute highlights and showing the winner on the thumbnail. fricking ridiculous
winner aint on the thumbnail
Also no handshake. There is cause to believe there was a contentious handshake with the standard monfils injury drama at a key moment...
Right!! This is so annoying why they putting the winner in the title and only 3min??
@@JB23669 They didn't? In this match at least... Monfils is much older. Most would think "rolling back the years" is Monfils rolling back the years to beat a younger Dimitrov. It was not the case.
Monfils did not win the match???? It was Dimitrov??????? Theres no winner on the thumbnail 💀
I love both these guys. My brothers.
Both play such beautiful tennis. Dimi just too strong today 🙌🔥❤️
That was a comprehensive win. The only thing he needs to dial in is his first serve percentage.
Two of my favorite players!! I didn’t know who to root for; so may the best man win. 🎉
good job! Dim. keep it UP!!!!
All games deserve a longer summary. 3 minutes is little time for the quality and duration of the matches
Man, Grigor is playing some clean tennis.
Yes! Very few errors.
What and amazing win
Congrats Dimitrov👏

Two aging stars who still bring excitement to the game. Though Monfils isn’t as creative as he used to be and Dimitrov is still hungry for a GS title.
Dimitrov style is particularly effective on grass
Grigor is superior!
Grigor playing on grass is a poetry .
Let’s go Grigor 👏🔥💚🌱
Consistency that's d key 🛡️
Dimitrov, it’s now or never
That was a whuppin'.
3 min of highlights xD omfg
yeah and whats even worse is that they bring like 2-3 match highlights per round
Хорош, Гришаня!
Monfils did not bring his A game today
Dimi did not let him play, he was really good.
Why would he not bring his A game? It's kinda now or never in his career. From what I see, Demitrov stayed very aggressive throughout and Monfis can't handle that level of game.
@FinancialFreebo his A game died a few years back. Too old now. But still very impressive for his age imo. Making r3 is no easy feat
i mean he is getting old.. so this is expected while dimi playing really good since last year.
Monfils is finished like Stan Wawrinka. They can't win the matches now a days.
Love D’s all pro demeanor!!
Monfils already committed himself to being on the Bahrami tour several years ago; still good for getting through a few rounds of GS tournaments though.
Monfils trying to imitate grigor on match point w the one hander lol. Dimitrov full of confidence
Gael doing one handed backhands at some point was pretty funny. Love seeing him play. But Dimi even more..hope he comes far this Wimbledon!
Pleased to see highlights of this match posted but far too short - longer highlights please 🙏✨️🙌
Gd dimitrov ground strokes and his backhand now are so confident, im rooting for him
Dimi looking very good there a quiet confidence about him this year
How was Monfils "rolling back the years?" By losing the match, as his age and ranking suggest? Misleading caption.
So elegant, too bad he will be facing Sinner in the 4th round though.
QF eventually
It would be great to see Dimitrov to fulfil his potential and find that missing piece to success.
2:41 なんで、片手バックなんだろう?
I would like to see the handshakes in all Wimbeldon highlights please
Why all of these misleading titles??
Monfils tried hard to find excuses for his loss as usual.
highlights still too short but at least they showed some good stuff here haha!
Telling the result in the title. Genius
Monfils tried to hit one hand backhand at 2:40 💀
It's pretty funny to say "rolling back the years" when his opponent is even older lmao
打球音が桁違い笑笑
As usual, Monfils has been dismantled.
And u don’t show the hand shake after the match ??
Game set and match de minaur?
Monfils trying out one-handed backhand LOL 2:41
Nice match gentlemen.
2:50 - how is 9/17 net approach points won better than 14/16?
Monfils has lost a step or two over the years
And is still faster than most.
thought he had already retired a year or two ago
Unfortunately Grigor has always been baby Fed , and most probably will stay
Go Dimi gogogo
Monfils needs to take some points from Grigors Renaissance
Gael hitting a one hander on the last point?!?
Net approach Grigor 14/16, Gael 9/17, but lists Gael as the winner in that department 😂 (just because he had 1 more attempt, but 5 less succeeded)
Dimi can win against Medevedev, what do u guys think?
Monfils is a jock

oldschool mfs
Grigor is younger than Monfils
Why would Gael try a one-handed backhand on match point?
Turn pro in 2008 still no slam dunk
Did Monfils wrong with that thumbnael lol
Longer videos or dislike.
Baby fed when he wins, Dimotrov when he loses??
Easy as expected.
Does Dimitrov have a new coach?
New "old" coach - Danny Valverdu used to be with him when he was playing his best tennis years ago.
I think Jamie Delgado is still his coach and Danny Valverdu is his fitness coach.
monfill one hand, in the last point?

Perhaps Dimi will play even better if he does not wear this cap (even more strange: back-to-Front!)
He removed his cap in Queens and lost in R2! Maybe be cap brings him luck 😂
The hair transplant hasn't quite bedded in yet.
Monfil look well, unfortunately fatherhood is around him very quickly

Poor reporting, the lower ranked player and loser of the match gets the photo 🤷🏻♂️
Your highlights suck. 3 min is too short. Putting the winner in the cover photo and sometimes in the title is a bad move. Do better, Wimbledon.
Monfils should retire
Poor highlights tbh
Monfils should retire soon!!! Enough is enough!!! Even Svitolina's love can't motivate him.
3 minutes pathetic!
monfils is washed
More likes to this comment increases Grigor's chances of winning Wimby this year!! Like it now!!
Monfils should stick to basketball. LMFAO SMH
What is this garbage of 3 minutes, please do at least 5 minutes of highlights. At this point, it doesn't benefit watching these videos.
1HB from Monfils to finish the match! Interesting
