I don't live there but have visited West Virginia several times. It really is spectacularly beautiful no matter the season. Everyone I've met there were fine down-to-earth people, friendly and helpful to strangers. Even in their mountains where stereotypes say the people are unfriendly and clannish, I was met with kindness and friendliness. My car broke down way up in the mountains. Not only did a local man stop to help me, a total stranger, but he drove me to a motel, went back and towed my car to his home. The next day he repaired my car and refused any payment except to cover the cost of parts. I have traveled around the US for 50 years now, and the only other time this has happened, the person who repaired my car was a friend of the person I was visiting.
I worked as a field engineer, and part of my territory was West Virginia. The state is beautiful and the people are genuinely nice. One of my customers, on hearing that I would be staying overnight in a hotel, insisted that I come to his house for dinner. I met his wife and his two delightful children. It was warm and wonderful, I still think about it decades later.
Thank you for the glowing endorsements of my state. So many people have a view that we are insular rednecks who hate anyone not "one of us," but that couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm a transplant from PA, and as soon as I moved to huntington, my neighbors were my friends, and people seemed genuinely happy I moved to their state. I haven't been a Pennsylvanian since I stepped foot in WV. Something about this place instantly feels like home. Sometimes, it really feels like it's almost heaven.
In the fall, the drive from Morgantown to Charleston is just breathtaking. I'm lucky enough to have to do that drive every year, and when I don't have to do it anymore, I probably still will.
My family was from West Virginia and I was born there. It’s a beautiful state so are the people. John Denver was right , those country roads always call you home Wild, wonderful , West Virginia
Hello from West Virginia. I think it's great how much you like my home state, West Virginia is the butt of a lot of jokes here in the U.S. "sometimes deserved" but it is an absolutely beautiful state.
The top 10 places to visit in West Virginia ! 1 ) New River Gorge National Park and Preserve “ take long point trail “ 2 ) Spruce Knob - the highest point also some the darkest night skies east of Mississippi River 3 ) Blackwater Falls in Davis , West Virginia 4 ) Harpers Ferry listed as a historic landmark 5 ) Cranberry Glades , a unique ecosystem formed from a glacier melt ! The only areas in North American that resemble the area are found in Canada 6 ) Dolly Sods Wilderness , was used a lumber area with railroads, then eventually turned into a bomb disposal area during WW2 ! Beware of landmines ! 7 ) Watoga State Park 8 ) Lost River State Park , best to visit in the fall 9 ) Green Bank Space Observstory 10 ) Cass Scenic Railroad , really fun train rides up and down the mountains, also best during the fall !
My parents moved from West Virginia to Michigan, so that my Dad could get paid enough, as a teacher, to start a family. We always spent a couple weeks in WV, most years, and many Thanksgivings. My parents are gone now, and we all spent a week at a West Virginia State Park, for a family reunion, planned by my nieces, one of whom lives in Morgantown, where my parents grew up, and my moms ancestors pioneered nearby, in 1773. Love WV, but proud to be born and raised in Michigan (for the most part), and while thinking about moving to WV, as a retiree, I have too much family here in Michigan, and my auto hobby/lifestyle, wouldn't be as accessible there.
Hi Andre. I'm from north central West Virginia. I think the beauty of our state is #1. True, most of our states are stunning, but I love WV. West Virginians will help a stranger in a heartbeat. Many of our miners went to North Carolina after the hurricanes this year to build roads and help those who lost everything. I'm so proud of our mountain boys.
I live in Fayetteville, West Virginia. My house is maybe 5 minutes from the New River Gorge Bridge. Winter is nice to see here, but you really need to see it in the fall, before the leaves fall from the trees.
The main river in WV is the Ohio. It defines the western side of the state. Go upstream and you're in Pittsburgh. Go downstream and you go under Ohio (the state) to hit Cincinnati and then Louisville KY. Eventually New Orleans. It's all part of the Mississippi Watershed and it's navigable to around 70 miles north of Pittsburgh. There are navigation locks on the rivers like in the Panama Canal, and there are barges going up and down the rivers. It's almost criminal how cheap and easy this makes it for us to ship goods around the country and out to the world. Edit: I thought the river in the video was the Ohio. It's not. It's the New River, about 10 miles downstream from that bridge. The New River is not navigable. It has rocks, rapids, and falls. If you look on the map there are no ports. Go a little more downstream and it becomes the Kanawha River. I see a port in Alloy, for what looks like a coal depot.
Absolutely! I’ve lived in WV all 51 years of my life. And yes, it is gorgeous here in the fall. The mountains are ablaze with the fall colors of orange, red, yellow, and brown, and it makes it look like it’s a painting! I live about 20 miles east of Charleston, in Kanawha County. Lived in this area my entire life. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else! It really is almost heaven!
Another West Virginia viewer here. Our state is beautiful in all seasons and filled with friendly people. Winter we have skiing and sledding, Summer we have whitewater rafting and lots of trails. Check out videos on Bridge Day when they jump off the New River Bridge
I live an hour away from West Virginia in the foothills of Appalachia. We have so many kinds of trees that turn red, yellow and orange in the autumn. Life is better in the woods!
New subscriber and im from West Virginia. If you think its beautiful in the winter you must see it in the fall. The colors of the trees is breathtaking.
My Grandpa is from West Virginia on the Kanawah River (where Matt and Nat are) which joins the Ohio River. My Grandmother was from Kentucky. I´m in Ohio. The three of us, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky call ourselves the TriState area. Very closely related due to the Rivers jobs, transportation of goods of various kinds for many years. I wish someone would take a Riverboat Cruise on the Mississippi on a Paddlewheeler. West Virginia and Kentucky folk were the first Pioneers to brave the wilderness, make permanent settlements and survive to tell about it ´back East´.
I share a last name of one of the families of the longest feud in America. Andre should do a video on that feud in West Virginia and Kentucky. Hatfield and Mccoys
Virginia here, but all of my ancestors came from West Virginia, Welch and Williamson for my parents, also Iager. Grandparents lived between the N&W railroad and the Tug river. Have visited all of the above named towns gathering info on my ancestors. Have been traveling across the West Virginia Turnpike since the 1950’s, and have witnessed firsthand the changes over the years, all for the better! It’s an old saying here in my part of Virginia that “you can’t get there from here without crossing the West Virginia turnpike”, lol.
Kanawha state forest has a few good trails and if its your thing a free covered outdoor gun range (about 110 yards to the massive berm) all in the state forest lol
@Jcornman24 you're moving to one of the more beautiful areas, especially in the fall. You got some good lakes rivers and streams down there, so if you like water, you're on luck. You should check out beach fork out wayne (in Wayne but you'll understand when you move here). The river trails off rt 2 are nice too. But both of those will be on the other side of Charleston from you. Theres some unmaintained trails in sissonville that are nice, hard to tell you where they are if you don't know the area, but a local will gladly point the way. I don't know any trails on the Beckly side of charleston, but the views down there are beautiful, I used to repair roads in and around Charleston and the area between Charleston and Beckley were my favorite places to work.
From WV. Grew up not far from the New River Gorge in Summersville (check out Summersville Lake). Always glad when I get to go back ‘home’ and hope to retire there someday in the future. ❤️❤️
My next door neighbor owns land on the lake. I live on the SC coast though I don't live up there. I spend quite a bit of time there though I have a house in western PA and a lot of family in WV. Had quite a few reunions there just had one in Wheeling this summer after my uncle that lived there died. Summerville is about 8-9 hours from home in SC and sometimes I stop at hotel there in front of the Walmart if I don't want to drive through. Just sucks making that drive in the winter lol. Had it a few times where there was no snow anywhere on 79 till I got to Morgantown. I stopped that one night in Summerville was real bad. I had my dogs with and they kept wanting to go out and the parking lot was glare ice. Soon as I got through Fayetteville no snow no nothing in the morning. Guess I could have kept driving a few more min and been fine lol. There was a semi though that slid into my lane and I felt my truck slipping a few times so I stopped.
Lived in WV for 3 yrs. and loved it! The scenery is beautiful, lush land, alot of wildlife, fresh air, healthy spring water, the people are down to Earth and layed back. Weather is kinda rough in the Winter but it's worth it to view the snow covered Mountains every morning. It's wonderful there! We lived in a house there with a Railroad Track literally maybe 20 feet from the house. The train would go by every day and shake the house but surprisingly it never woke us up if we were sleeping, guess we just got use to it. I love trains so it was perfect for me even the noise. I have such fond memeories of living in WV. I'd like to retire there and live out my last days in almost Heaven ( The Mountain) State. I do miss it so much. John Denver lived out his days in Colorado. I Lived there too, it's beautiful also, but different Scenery. The Mountains of Colorado are mainly pine trees and brush. In the Summer it's desert and tumbleweed on the plains, but it is so beautiful in its own way.
Saying hello from Morgantown West Virginia, yes, our state is absolutely beautiful. love your videos You always seem like such a genuinely nice person on your videos
We'd run away to West Virginia ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!! It's the best place to have raised our Sons! When my Family visited us many years ago, they all fell in love with WV-- it's peaceful slowed-down culture, straight talking People and no criminals breathing down our necks. My Father put in for a transfer with the technology company he was with for almost 30 years and was excited to get moved here. I wasn't raised in WV, but my Husband was, and when we planned raising our Family, there was no way I wanted to raise our Family in the city where I was raised and he was agreeable to raising ours in West Virginia. The People, the land, the adventures, the food, the peacefulness, and elbow room for all of us are just SOME of the characteristics about West Virginia for which we all are grateful. We're glad you like WV-- it's a very good place to raise Children and to find adventure in every nook and cranny. West Virginia is every bit as beautiful as you have seen in that video-- which showed Horseshoe Bend of the New River, 15 minutes from our home.
I’m sorry but I would move out of this state if I had school aged children. The education system lacks a lot. And honestly, I’ve not ran into many highly intelligent people here.
I live in Pittsburgh about 1/2 hour North) but work in Gas/Oil everyday in WV - people have only heard of the industry/mines etc from our area (PA, WV, MD & OH) I’m glad you’re showing another side. I don’t think people realize how beautiful our area is.
I'm from West Virginia!!! Thanks for showcasing our state. I love your videos; you exude such joy in all of them and it always cheers me up. Thanks for doing them!!! ❤
5 generations on both sides born and raised in WV. It’s absolutely beautiful here year round, but mid autumn when the hardwood leaves have all turned and not yet fallen is the best. Watching from Cross Lanes here. Cheers.
But he went to Belington a lot. There was a little hole in the wall bar there he loved going to and he truly loved WV. I met a guy through my ex back in the eighties who became good friends with John Denver after meeting him at that bar.
West Virginia is BEAUTIFUL! Grew up in Pittsburgh and my Daddy and I would take white water rafting trips there! On the Youghiogheny river several times every year-sooooo fun❤️
I'm 71 years old and was born and raised in southern West Virginia. I live about 35 miles from Winterplace and have gone there many times to watch the skiing. I've also eaten at The Dish Cafe. Thank you for showing interest in our state.
I moved to WV for work; and, yes it's beautiful with the most wonderfully friendly people! The bridge you saw in the film is the New River Gorge Bridge. The third Saturday of October is "Bridge Day", a festival where the very brave BASE jump, and the not so brave (me) walk out on the bridge. I love this state and proudly called myself a Mountaineer.
I lived in West Virginia for a bit, it is absolutely beautiful! I also lived next door in Virginia for many years. I loved going to the Mountain Heritage Craft Festival in West Virginia. I hope they're still having it every spring, I want to go again. I live in Wisconsin now but, I desperately miss the mountains.
West Viginia has fantastic geography. Forests, countryside. Really nice place to visit. We have many places in the US like that for camping and mountain cabins. I vacationed in Yellowstone National Park area last September. I rented a cabin and was so pleased. My family was so happy! Costs about $40.00 to rent aboard and boots.
This is so funny to me! I grew up just down the road from Winterplace and spend almost my whole childhood at Grandview on the trails and in the picnic areas. A video can not do the main overlook justice. You really have to see it in person to get the feel of it, kind of like you need to see the ocean in person to really feel it. Winters in WV are awesome, if you're prepared to stay at home for days, possibly a week if the snow gets bad. I think you'd love it, honestly. Watch your videos all the time, my family and I really enjoy them! I hope you get to come visit the US at some point and I hope that when you do, you have the time of your life! ❤
Happy to see my underrated state getting some love! ❤️ It really is gorgeous. It’s the only state entirely within Appalachia. Tho we rarely get snow that sticks here in the northern panhandle… 😒 (we’re actually in the Appalachian foothills here so the elevation is lower and the weather is warmer)
I live in West Virginia and love it here! I have deer in my back yard almost every day. Love seeing them and watching the babies grow!! I thank the Lord for the beauty here every day!!
I am in my 6th decade as a WV-ian in Berkeley County, middle of the Eastern County, only an 1 1/2 from Washington DC and Baltimore MD. Locally, we are closer to 6 other state capitals than our own about 6 hours away. Our location provides an easy trip to many rural and urban points of interest. This video is only a snippet of what the State is and has to offer. WV is rich in outdoor adventures, historical events and facts, sports pride, community kindness & resourcefulness, and independent spirit. Thank you for including WV on your channel. You are welcome here anytime.
West Virginian here! Where Matt and Nat were was in the southern part of the state but there are other gorgeous parts of West Virginia too. The north east part of the state is known for its rolling hills and vast apple and peach orchards, which, in spring is pink blossoms for as far as the eye can see! Central WV is beautiful as well. There’s Seneca Rocks and Black Water Falls, all very beautiful!
I have never been on a snow board. However, I have snow skied a lot all over the USA plus Austria, Canada, France, and Switzerland. Learning to ski is frustrating, and it generally takes three or more days before it even starts being fun. If she is able to snow board on the first day - even if not very well - she is doing GREAT!
Cooper's Rocks has a beautiful view especially in the fall with all the colors of the trees and the Cheat River Gorge. Cass Railroads take you on a beautiful ride up to the top of Cheat Mountain. The city of Weirton, West Virginia is the only city in the country whose corporation limits border between two other states; the other states are Ohio and Pennsylvania.
West Virginia only has approximately 1.5 million people in the whole state, which makes it awesome to live because you're not crowded out! I'm in Florida now because of my health but my heart will always be in west Virginia ❤❤❤
This couple has their own little things they like. I am from Ohio, and all the showed from our state is eating with a friend around Columbus, at a market place. That was the video of Ohio. Not the Rock & Roll or Football Hall of Fame, not our great amusement parks, not our wonderful zoos, not even Noah’s Ark replica.
West Virginia is beautiful and a joy to live in now that I'm no longer an angst filled teenager that was just sick of nothing but trees and mountains everywhere. yeah i left right after college, found a wonderful husband had 3 kids and decided i wanted to move back home to where we were less worried about school shootings and other random violence. the only thing i hate about it is everyone knows you. so like even at 46 my mom still gets told when I go to a restaurant that serves alcohol or to a movie that's not rated pg. ok now it's more of a oh yeah i saw faith at type of thing verses Mrs. Stutler calling my grandma to report i went to a friends house after school instead of going straight home. now Mrs. Stutler reports to me on my teenagers comings and goings. lol
Me and my husband were just in the Gully River area today and drove across that bridge. Such a small world we have. The West Virginia Appalachian Range are the oldest in the USA and most of the rest of the mountain ranges in the world. Another little known fact, there once were under water before pushing up.
West Virginia has many mountains, including the Appalachian Mountains, the Allegheny Mountains, the Ridge and Valley Mountains, and the Blue Ridge Mountains
John Denver was born in New Mexico. His father was a military decorated pilot and they lived in Arizona, Alabama and Texas. As a young adult, his father taught him to fly. He lived in Colorado and bought a jet to fly himself to his concerts. He died at age 53 in a plane crash in California.
I'm from West Virginia, and it is beautiful. When you make it over to the U.S., you can hit some really nice sites in WV close to Pittsburgh, PA (so you an experience city and country)
How cool of you to recognize our state! We are often overlooked (or joked about). My family has been here for generations, and we are very proud of our state. We have our share of problems, to be sure, but we also have good hearted people and outstanding natural beauty - thank you for appreciating it!
Born in Elkins, WV and currently living in Charleston, WV. This video randomly popped up from me watching a few of your other vids. The footage of my city on here made me smile. Thank you! ❤
These two are good travelers and seem to find good things to do. I follow them. Maybe a little too happy. LOL I've been to a lot of states and have thought all were beautiful. WV has Old mountains, very worn down and rounded with leafy tree forests. I would like to have ridden my motorcycle over some of their many rural roads, but too many cars for me. Had to stick to 4 wheels. You like southern accents, try this one. Music recommendation, Americana artist from Appalachia ... Valerie June... Drink up and go Home ... Twined and Twisted. I'm a Rock and Roll guy but I really like this lady.
I met a man in Wyoming back in the 1980's. He was from West Virginia. Ray Stanley. I very nice gentleman. Good friend. He use to come over for one of my sister's "Good for you" meals. It was the closest to home cooking he'd found up there. He finally went home as did we(Oklahoma). He loved his home.
My grandfather was born there. We have a booklet of his side of the family. A lot about my grandfather's grandparents family. Also everyone's kids, etc... so I'm in there. Where they went to school, got married & their kids. One of my grandfather's uncle was a gambler. lol. A lot of old pictures too of their land & houses in WV. I recommend people do that... write as much as you can about your family and pass it down to your kids, grandkids, etc. We have a facebook group of my mom's side & share pictures, stories, even copies of wills of my great great grandparents.
Born and raised in West Virginia. Moved away to work in Washington DC for three years then I just had to come back. Every time Country Roads played on the radio while I was away it made me miss home more than I could have ever imagined. I spent most of my childhood playing in the woods, but there's a few things I would recommend looking into. Beckley - You can go on a tour into an old coal mine. Not for someone who is claustrophobic that is for dang sure. BRIDGE DAY! One day every year they shut down traffic to the New River Gorge Bridge and BASE jumpers from all over the world come to jump off. This video showed Winterplace, but we have a couple other ski resorts that are just as awesome. White Water rafting the New River is top notch and tough to beat. Chili Fest. Rib Fest. Peperoni rolls. Venison. We love our food! We love our land! We love visitors. Come on by sometime!
I’m born and raised in West Virginia my state is beautiful especially the fall I love riding the back roads in the fall the leaves changing colors I love it!!
Im from Boone county WV it truly is a very beautiful place with a ton of great people and places with alot of stuff to do just a great place to live overall
I was born and raised in Morgantown West Virginia. Home of the West Virginia University Mountaineers!!!! It is also the hometown of Actor Don Knotts. I wish they would have visited the Hatfield family (from the Hatfield McCoy feud) cemetery near Matewan, WV. It is like holy ground to a mountaineer, my grandfather took me there when I was a kid. The New River Gorge bridge is a cool place to visit. They close one side down every year so people can bungie and free jump off the bridge. Just to let you know John Denver was from California but Country Roads is classic. I play it every time I go home to visit when I cross into West Virginia from Virginia. I live in Florida now but I can't go anywhere down here and not run into someone from back home. Great video!!!
Commenting from Martinsburg West Virginia, in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. I highly recommend you look into the old history of how Martinsburg almost became the Capital of the State, only for the city's chances to be dismantled by a literal traveling circus clown. WOOHOO
I don't live there but have visited West Virginia several times. It really is spectacularly beautiful no matter the season. @@jessicaquick6411 I disagree, the Fall... its breathtaking here in the fall
As a native West Virginian, I can confirm. This is the way a lot of us roll.
Have lived in West Virginia for over 70 years. Beautiful in winter and summer.

The Appalachian mountains are incredibly old, much older than the Rocky Mountains on the west coast. That's why they have less peaks than you expected
And why the state is called Mountain Mama.
Plus they blow the tops off digging for coal
Pennsylvania here but my southern neighbor West Virginia is gorgeous! It really is the definition of true southern beauty Americiana
Mountaineer Casino in WV is north of Pittsburgh!!!
They have Bridge Day every third Saturday in October in Fayetteville, WV when it’s legal for BASE jumping off the New River Gorge Bridge 🪂
My dad loved that bridge
Nonsense Andre'. You have a beautiful singing voice. 🤣West Virginia is a hidden gem. If I didn't live in Texas I would consider moving there.

Have been traveling across the West Virginia Turnpike since the 1950’s, and have witnessed firsthand the changes over the years, all for the better! It’s an old saying here in my part of Virginia that “you can’t get there from here without crossing the West Virginia turnpike”, lol.
My husband is from Iaeger! He said that as a child, the sound of the N&W trains helped him go to sleep at night.
I'm moving to West Virginia, honestly can't wait to take a hike through this beautiful countryside
Kanawha state forest has a few good trails and if its your thing a free covered outdoor gun range (about 110 yards to the massive berm) all in the state forest lol
@nightbane727 very nice suggestion, I'm moving somewhere between Charleston and Beckley, and range or trail suggestions are welcome
I was born and raised in WV. I don't live there anymore, but I'm not far away.
This is the cheapest state to buy beautiful property. My brother just got something 150k on 10 acres. Great investment ❤
It will be worth 150k in 10 years. Not much of an investment.
I visited West Virginia for the first time last year. Very beautiful scenery and kind people.
Yep. Beautiful America strikes again!
How did you know he was gonna say that? 😂
5 generations on both sides born and raised in WV. It’s absolutely beautiful here year round, but mid autumn when the hardwood leaves have all turned and not yet fallen is the best. Watching from Cross Lanes here. Cheers.
West Virginia is very beautiful, and it's driving distance from Washington DC.
John Denver was born in New Mexico, grew up in Arizona and Texas.
West Virginia resident here. Like any state, there is good and bad. But this is not my home state... I choose to live her!
I am watching from Southern West Virginia, on the border with Virginia.
Me too
Logan/Wyoming Counties here (live and work), hail!
@@jeremyryannoel i am from McDowell county
We vacation in West Virginia every single year. We live in Virginia is and it is just lovely to have close by!
W V here, slow pace beautiful place.
you should see it in the spring when the azalea and mountain laurel is in bloom and everything is green and lush
This and the Fire on The Mountain around Easter!
I've traveled through WV many times. It's a really pretty state with great people. It sorta gets a bad rap but I personally think its wonderful!
Nearly every state in the Union, if not all, has it's beauty; in one form or the other. Just like nearly every country/region on this planet.
You ever been to Ohio? The only beautiful thing in Ohio is its view of west virginia.
I'm from the northern panhandle and my wife is from the southern part of WV. Love your videos!
I was born and raised in West Virginia. Happy to be back home after 23 years in Cincinnati.
Born and raised here. Wonderful place
I am from charleston west virginia born and raise its a beautiful state. I live in philadelphia now
I am West Viginia. 'Enough said. Thank you John Denver for Almost Heaven, West Virginia. Truest lyrics ever sung.
I lived 15mins from winterplace spent many winters on those slopes an snowshoe resort till I moved to indiana after college
Snowshoe is a way prettier place than Winterplace the colors are brighter and way cleaner!
I live 30 miles from west Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio all come together
I cannot believe they did not show the gold dome of the capital building,
This couple has their own little things they like. I am from Ohio, and all the showed from our state is eating with a friend around Columbus, at a market place. That was the video of Ohio. Not the Rock & Roll or Football Hall of Fame, not our great amusement parks, not our wonderful zoos, not even Noah’s Ark replica.
I'm in NE Ohio. They missed a lot! What about Amish Country? What about Cuyahoga Valley National Park? Etc.
Been there many times, love West Virginia!
i was born directly under the new river gorge bridge.
Stutler calling my grandma to report i went to a friends house after school instead of going straight home. now Mrs. Stutler reports to me on my teenagers comings and goings. lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣hey, at least they care enough to "tattle"lol
Me and my husband were just in the Gully River area today and drove across that bridge. Such a small world we have.
The West Virginia Appalachian Range are the oldest in the USA and most of the rest of the mountain ranges in the world. Another little known fact, there once were under water before pushing up.
West Virginia has many mountains, including the Appalachian Mountains, the Allegheny Mountains, the Ridge and Valley Mountains, and the Blue Ridge Mountains
Actually, it's the Gauley river. There's the upper and the lower gauley.depends on how intense you want your river rafting experience to be. 😊
John Denver was born in New Mexico. His father was a military decorated pilot and they lived in Arizona, Alabama and Texas. As a young adult, his father taught him to fly. He lived in Colorado and bought a jet to fly himself to his concerts. He died at age 53 in a plane crash in California.
My family is from Trout and Oak Hill. Its so beautiful there.
Always enjoy your reactions!
My home state awesome thanks for checking this out.
It's weird watching this guy react... Two places I go and live nearby.... I watched a lot of his videos he's pretty cool
I live in the Appalachian mountains in TN. So beautiful
I'm from West Virginia, and it is beautiful. When you make it over to the U.S., you can hit some really nice sites in WV close to Pittsburgh, PA (so you an experience city and country)
The Paris of Appalachia!
Lived in Fayette County my whole life pretty much. WV is very interesting lol.
Lived here nearly all my 51 years Great video love your reactions
How cool of you to recognize our state! We are often overlooked (or joked about). My family has been here for generations, and we are very proud of our state. We have our share of problems, to be sure, but we also have good hearted people and outstanding natural beauty - thank you for appreciating it!
Born in Elkins, WV and currently living in Charleston, WV. This video randomly popped up from me watching a few of your other vids. The footage of my city on here made me smile. Thank you! ❤
Nice West Virginia getting some love. Love back at you Andrea
These two are good travelers and seem to find good things to do. I follow them.
Maybe a little too happy. LOL
I've been to a lot of states and have thought all were beautiful.
I like hiking from Harper's ferry to the mason Dixon line. 40 miles of Maryland.
I'm from West Virginia. Grew up in Monroe County and currently live in Greenbrier County. Nice video.
I’m born and raised in West Virginia my state is beautiful especially the fall I love riding the back roads in the fall the leaves changing colors I love it!!
Im from Boone county WV it truly is a very beautiful place with a ton of great people and places with alot of stuff to do just a great place to live overall
I'm in West Virginia! We've just gotten our first snow of the season! Its beautiful!
I’m from West Virginia! We do have a very beautiful state with a lot of fun things to do. Great video! Thanks for covering our state! 😊
I'm also from West Virginia....great video, looking forward to more!
I am still in love with a girl I knew from West Virginia. She was beautiful and so is the state..
Commenting from Martinsburg West Virginia, in the Eastern Panhandle of WV. I highly recommend you look into the old history of how Martinsburg almost became the Capital of the State, only for the city's chances to be dismantled by a literal traveling circus clown. WOOHOO
Hedgesville here.
@@karensandberg6226 Charles Town
Gerrardstown, here. Hi neighbor!
Probably a good thing in retrospect, Martinsburg is currently a clown show lol
