@@swiftarcade7632 If I may offer a suggestion, perhaps look at some popular apps as case studies and show us how to duplicate the more complex animations? Also, any thoughts about Lottie ?
@@glennadams7047 Hi Glen. Great point. Yes I have used and like Lottie. Just getting these basics down first before moving to the more advanced stuff. Thx for the suggestion.
Just 1 thing that I'd like to mention for newbies: DON'T trig an animation in ViewDidLoad() function. Every animations should be triggerd on ViewDidAPEAR().
Hi Jonathan, amazing video! I finally decided to crush my fears and have a go at Core Animation, which indeed seemed very intimidating at first. Can you recommend any more knowledge sources on Core Animation?
Hi Dorian - great question. Off the top of my head no... I haven't found any great source. What I do find has helped me however is finding an example of something I really like, and then disecting it from a first principles point-of-view. Slow and tedious. But my insight grows every time I do. And I understand higher-level APIs much better. I will post more when I do more. And if I come across a good resource will be sure to share here. All the best!

Your udemi courses look good. Do you have any courses for beginners? :)

Great point Mohammad. ViewDidLoad vs viewWillAppear matter more when it comes to animations. Cheers.
