I love birds, but this is just overwhelmingly distracting background noise. Especially for those of us who are hard of hearing already.
The bird sounds are very distracting. I didn't listen to the video because of it
Okay, so scientifically speaking, what if you are just have a huge metabolism? It sounds to me like Tolle was just a lightweight and became intoxicated from one glass of wine.
It takes me four or five beers just to feel anything, and I always desire to stop drinking after that many when I feel intoxicated. Does that mean I’m not an alcoholic, it simply takes me more to get drunk?
If you need a Bus it means you are! My dad use to drink,and there where his drinking friends would bring him home and lay him at our front door,many painful moments remind me on Alkohol. So now it’s a red flag,and I know don’t go there at all!And not to be lightweight is a excuse to keep on drinking,if you feel something it’s to late,from there is no return! I wish you well 🙏💜🙏🌹
in an interview with Phillip Seymour Hoffman, he was asked if it ever bothered him (being sober) to see people around him enjoying a glass of wine at a nice restaurant or having drinks at a party,
& i love his response,
(paraphrased from memory)
"no, i don't see people having a glass of wine & think that would be enjoyable, i mean, what good is a glass of wine? or a bottle? no, for me, that would only be a primer, i wouldn't be happy until i'd had enough to at least get a good buzz, & then i'd try to keep it going until i'd had my fill,
so no, a glass or two of wine was never something i wanted to do."
Thank You mr. Tolle & Mr. Hoffman, to some of us, certain drugs and/or alcohol is like those blinking lights, loud horn & gate arms swinging down at the railroad crossing, that means a train is coming & to stay clear of those freaking tracks...🤪🙄
