Hi Jennifer! Yes, yes, yes! Listening skills exercise: 1) Cut her some slack, she's a newbie. 2) Gimme=give me a twenty to whip up some appies for the party. 3) She's got some nerve sauntering in 30 minutes late. 4) I've got to hand it to you, I didn't think you pulled it off. 5) I got to have a little me time. As for me, this listening exercise was a bit challenging as you can clearly see. I made small mistakes here and there. Having said that, it's essential for a student to go out of his comfort zone to make progress. At the same time, we learned new expressions and idioms. New words for me: 1) Appies, 2) Saunter in, 3) Got to hand it to sb, 4) Me time.
