  • After receiving a multitude of questions and requests about the small parts cutting jig that I use in my model builds, I thought it only fitting to bring it to this week's show. I have made a few modifications to my original design and I feel it is a much safer jig than the original. I hope you enjoy it.

If you haven't already, please consider liking and subscribing to the channel. I have an incredible audience base here on the show and I'm hoping that you will consider becoming a part of that community.
As always, I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by the channel and tune in to today's episode. It is truly appreciated.

Cracking jig Kenny, very useful for everyone to use especially for the model makers like yourself. Take Care.

Another cracking jig, one of those things you didn't realise you needed until you started using it, excellent 👍
The only change I'd make is to remove the gussets and use L shaped brackets on the two sides, they'd give the strength required without limiting the size of the wood you can put on for cutting 😀

Thought of that Barry but for me, I know what size stock I cut on these jigs and they will all fit in that cutout on the left side gusset. I guess it's all about what suits your needs. Thanks for tuning in

Hooray, the small parts jig ! And updates too ! I can also see this used to cut grooves in dowels and ,of course, the small parts. Great jig to add to the collection ! Thanks Ken !

Glad to hear it Paul. It's always better to get the jig to hold the smaller parts than to trust your fingers. Good luck on your project and Thanks for tuning in this week.

@@acutabove_woodworkings yeah. What do you or did you do for a living, aka, daily work? Mine looks way worse tbh but I am slowly getting it together again. Your one of the few makers that just seems to love making. Doesn’t matter if wood, metal, glitter, or whatever.

@@aaronblackford981 I work full time as an electrician. I also have qualifications as a structural welder but I just use those skills for fun. The TH-cam channel is just a hobby for me but with over 875 episodes of the show posted on my channel, it might be a bit more than a hobby now. LOL.
