Iscle in his unique creativity is so well supported by Carla, as well as Victor in a solo running(!) very clearly! Jan comes up with Carla having his back! Wow! Another gem with a HUGE big band. All of the soloists were great, but I was especially impressed by Irene Reig on Alto. Where do you keep finding and teaching all of these young musicians? Joan, I give you and your musicians a standing ovation. Thank you.
I don't know a proper translation. In the german band I played with, Carla would have been titled the 'perfect carpet layer'. Figure out yourself why, but it is a huge compliment.
How cool to see the instrumentalists get the spotlight. Jan and Victor are two of my favorites, but I've fantasized about Irene and Iscle playing together! I think I'm on my fifth go 'round.

I knew the 2016 version with Victor Carrascosa, Marçal Perramon and Luigi Grasso. The version of 2016 is great but I think that here we are even more great. The toof the top. Fantastic.

Les pupitres de cuivres sont tenu par de remarquables musiciennes et musiciens du SAJB qui mettent une fois de plus leurs talents au service du collectif. Les soliste ne déméritent pas c est le moins que l on puisse dire. Direction sous la baguette (de main de maître serait plus juste) de l extra ordinaire Joan Chamorro ne fait que rajouter au plaisir donné par cette musique...
Very very good--though I miss the sound of French Horn formtheir first recording ofthis--are you areound Max? It all sounded great till Victor tried topull a Luigi. It is not necessary to show how many notes you can fit into a measure! Carla and Magali madethis piece run--you barely hear Magali and Carla is not much louder but without these two the whole train leaves the track.
