Lee Know pays more attention to details and technique than to the performance, Felix more to expressions and power than to dance, while Hyunjin embrace boths sides simultaneously. I would say Felix is more like a performer, Lee Know is like a dancer and Hyunjin is both dancer and performer so he catches the attention the most because of his immaculate technique, power and expressions, all in one.
Jin is a performer who can quit technique right in the middle because he is tired, but he will never quit expressing himself through different facial expressions, Kpop is more into performers than real dancers, there are no real dancers in kpop because acting is more important to people than dancing.
@@kikokai7382 No, Hyunjin never quit technique, he tones his moves down sometimes when he's tired but never quit technique. Felix does that often, in the last Maniac performance during KBS Songs Festival he didn't even try to hop on one leg, he was just standing and barely moving, while Hyunjin was executing it perfectly and powerfully and they both were on two sides of Minho's center part, on the same position. You can see it in their fancams. And it's like that many times. Minho can conserve his energy thorought the whole performance, but he skips steps sometimes too.

Technique not important without expression. Thats the reason back up dancer no need expression coz they just need to dance. They’re dancer. People love watching Taemin and Kai performance and their technique top tier. Not only because the technique but they telling the stories with their dancing and they expressing them. But I heard Stay love hip thrust that much so everything will be okay😅
@@foreverstay7805 Do you know Felix was in pain from the herniated disc ? His back got hurt, so in fact that not "TIRED" in the SBS songs festival. He can't move or hop like others is just because his back. You can see the practice version of manaic early than SBS songs festival, he can't dance strenuously because his back, so instead he do his best to catch up with members, or he also can choose not to join the that Festival and take a rest. He don't want to be absent of that songs Festival, because that might impact the song and formation. And Felix still need to rehabilitate his back so far.
I know that you just wanted to claim that Hyunjin is a great dancer, he do his best on the stage at any moment, but could you please don't do that by saying something negative of other members of Dance Racha to show how Hyunjin great and how other members in Dance Racha are negative.
That will only lead to the argument within stays, and I'm not good at English, so I may mistake the meaning or let you misunderstand what I want to express, that all.
Lee Know is always the closest to the original choreo. He concentrates on the movements and details without making it too special. Hyunjin on the other hand spices every little movement with his body rolls and spectacular body control. Lee Know makes dancing look simple and Hyunjin makes dancing look hard.

Lee Know is so underrated...only LeeKnow fancam can do him justice..Lee Know is the best dancer i've ever seen! He never overdance, so natural,chilled and just be himself all the time and dance like he has nothing to prove! @@kendra1124agreed, well him and bangchan is a really good dancer after dance racha (han is definitely a born performer as he use his expression and body movements very well while chan proving his years of trainee experience shows in his dance skills.). And han also could definitely be in vocalracha as his vocal contribute in skz team A LOT (and it's not shocking to know he was a lead vocal on debut era).
I can definitely see why he's the 4th gen ace and most likely the best all rounder in 4th gen.

Han is simply just too neglectful and tend to forget the choreographies but when he actually got them down, he can even overshadow both Hyunjin and Lee Know. He has already. He overshadowed Felix and Hyunjin last December 2022 in Blur memories. He overshadowed Lee Know in the God's menu video when they were coupled to dance with Changbin within the last minute. Overshadowed everyone in SKz during that interview competition where they had to improvise new dance moves.

Another thing about Hyunjin is that he embodies the music! He feels it. As a semi retired choreographer, I always look for performers/dancers who balance themselves in their music and add their personality in the dance. Hyunjin is a great example of that. He performs at 200% and it's honestly absurd how he improves after each performance.

My favorite thing about Hyunjin as a dancer is the fact that, when he first became a trainee he was a 'visual' casting. He was brought in as a trainee because he looked good. He'd never danced in his life (at least not seriously). He's talked before about how other trainees would laugh at how bad he was and how several told him that it didn't matter if he learned anything because he would just get in on his face alone. But he wasn't satisfied with that. He told the people who put him down that not only would he debut, but he'd do it as a Main Dancer. And. He. Did. Because, even if it IS hard to teach the skills he has NOW, he was dedicated and pushed himself and I love that about him. He is one of the hardest workers.
His hardwork and dedication paid off. And he still improves and learn new skills up to now.. he's so inspiring 🤍

They also dont agree with the fact that hes mostly the center of skz tho theres no position like that in their group. I am watching their dance practises and tho they are praising their faves u can definitely see and feel on their comments that they lowkey discrediting hyunjin. Some of them even saying "our fave does have a greta control so that he will not overshadow his members" "he doest give his potential because he doesnt want to outshine others". Hyunjin is such an incredible dancer! Not only is he naturally talented and professionally trained, but he also keeps improving and mastering new styles and perfecting his performance skills. There's no one that's comparable to him in the 4th gen

hyunjin is a super sharp & technical dancer. the dedication in every single one of his moves & the passion he has for his work is reflected in his showmanship. his isolation is very solid. he got a lot of control in his upper body. hyunjin understood the assignment & delivered. this is why he's my favourite main dancer. the fact that he always monitors his previous stages so that he can keep on improving & perfecting his techniques is amazing. i can't get enough of his dancing..it keeps you in a chokehold.

professional dancers with different dance genres background always notice and praise hyunjin’s dancing skills, some praise him for his perfect hip hop genre execution the others praise him for his perfect contemporary genre execution and others are asking if he has an athletic background, this is all due him being a SOPA student where he learned many dance genres with his focus being hip hop after graduation he shifted his focus on contemporary because he thought he still lacks fluidity. he’s so hard working he used to train up to 18 hours a day and his hard work paid of by Japanese dance expert arata ranking as the best 4th gen male dancer, he was the only stray kids member on a list filled with 3rd gen dancers. Studio choom also picked him as the best dancer among AOTMs.
he also undoubtedly has the best musicality like he’s insane at delivering instruments to the nano meter.
I'm so so proud that they chose and recognized Hyunjin and his innate dancing talent which he polished so much over years. He is THE performer, he is meant to perform and be on the stage. A performer shouldn't just be skilled in dancing. He has to have a range of expressions and he has to put personality into his moves. Hyunjin has exactly all of these traits. His sharp eyes speak a story on their own, his expressions suited to each song, his bodily flow, his smoothness, his control over his body and his isolations. Isolations ars very tough to do and he has them wrapped around his fingers. My ult bias in Stray Kids and perhaps even the whole industry. Truly, not once have I been disappointed with his performances. Even while injured, he gives his best and puts his soul into everything. I love Hyunjin for that ❤️🫶

Anyone can become a good dancer if they work hard but to have that insane amount of stage presence and incredible facial expressions while dancing great is something hard to master. I've only been dancing for 2 years and Hyunjin never fails to amaze me with his dancing skills. I definitely won't reach his level, but he motivates me. And when I found out that he was also a choreographer, my jaw dropped at that moment 🔥 He was called the Legend of Hard Work and he really achieved a lot in a short time

Felix - Many argue that he doesn't belong in danceracha but forget that he's there because he's a great performer and shines well when he's center. Watch main stages, thats where he really shines.

I accompanied some teenagers to a StrayKids concert. I dance, so I tend to focus on the dancing a lot. Even watching from far away, Hyunjin caught my eye immediately, so I looked him up on TH-cam. He really has a beautiful way to move.

It's not the first time I've seen dancers choose the best Hyunjin. I wouldn't be interested in K-pop at all if I didn't see him dancing. Every detail of his dance is perfect. His dancing is precise, smooth in the right places and he always adds a touch of artistry. He does not sacrifice any aspect of the dance. He is both fire and water. Hyunjin accurately conveys emotions and feelings. He learned dance techniques and added his soul and heart. But what excites me the most is that he is not only one of the best dancers, but that he is multi-talented.

ps. lee know was supposed to be a choreographer, he was a professional dancer before getting casted by jype. he participated in world of dance and was on the same dance crew with popular choreographers in kpop/korea right now like bada lee, vata and the likes! hyunjin on the other hand worked so hard to get where he is right now, people from the past tend to only focus on his visuals and not his skills that’s why he decided to prove them wrong and now he is one of the best dancers! his skills are no jokes and he keeps on improving 🥹 for felix, he used to dance also before he even got into jype hence the skills are really well-plated there and just like the rest he keeps on improving. imo for them there will always be a room for improvments i like how greedy they are. born to be stars! 🫡

Nor for nothing experts choose Hyunjin as the best dancer of his generation, you just can't deny the fact Hyunjin have everything, body control, smoth isolations, energy control, stage presence, you can see his soul and heart in every interpretation he does , and locking and popping are part of him
lee know is better though (In terms of technical ability) and he deserves more attention..
Edit: Since y’all won’t stop attacking me in the comments, I’ve been dancing for a very long time, and I have also noticed that LK has amazing skill and is a perfect dancer in terms of technical ability. I never said hyunjin was bad or worse than lee know, they are just different dancers and have different styles. Hyunjin for instance, is better at stage presence/expressions, and Lee know as I said earlier is better at technical skill such as conserving energy throughout the performances and having perfect lines in his dance. You all need to calm down, just bc your bias is not the best technical dancer! (because he’s still a great dancer and technical skill doesn’t mean you are good/bad)

I didn’t say anything bad about any member,I just praised Hyunjin’s dance style and I said that professional dancers also do so…When every single professional dancer,dance ranking,dance school/experts,choreographers,always chose Hyunjin as the best…well what can I tell you except keep hyping your fav instead of coming here analysing Hyunjin’s dance style and giving him criticism,when professionals were impressed by his technique! First of all CUTIES I'm sorry to comment so shallowly but they all look so good, slayed! I was so happy to hear Han mentioned, he tends to get more credit for being able to rap and sing at a high level but he's really earned the title of all-rounder, my boy can dance.
