Nice video. Thanks for taking me down memory. Back in the 50s I was just a 7 year old kid when my dad had a stall in Bourda market. The entrance was through orange walk. I would sit on the counter while my mom would hold me ( protecting me from falling). The market would close at 4:00 pm...
I'll travel to Guyana soon and this is a very ilustrative video, most of the videos here express that Georgetwon may be dangerous, but I didn't feel that in your video... thanks!
I finally understand how those speed boat work now, it's, really a water taxi, so cool, this was another great towed around Georgetown again, I think the Bourda Market is more like a shopping center than a market, because it seems like a person con find almost everything in there that they want. Thanks for another fantastic video.
I appreciate all the energy and effort you have spent making this video. I felt I was in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. I thank you for the information and the entertainment.
“Skyscrapers” would be 15 stories at the maximum in Georgetown, the land isn’t stable enough for world class high rises, buildings would sink and collapse Silica City, Maraiko Bay and the Providence-Diamond-Eccles region (located just south of Georgetown) will be the areas with most of those world class high rises

I thought Starbroek was the only major market there. Now with the oil boom, you guys will start to see some skyscrapers in downtown.
