But what happens if you need just one or two more varieties or some of your seed starts failed. I love yellow squash lol. The Jalapenos make stuffed bacon-wrapped poppers! Grill them and they are so good! The filling is usually cooked chicken, cream cheese with some seasonings of your choice---garlic & onion powder, salt & pepper, stuff the pepper then wrap in bacon and secure with a toothpick, grill until bacon is done and the peppers are soft-if you cook them so they get softer with a little char on them, they won't burn your face off from being too spicy and hot. They are so good.
As a Southerner, I have to admit, it has always seemed weird to me that very few homesteaders plant yellow squash and I haven't seen a single one plant PEANUTS.
Does no one make roasted/boiled/or peanut butter, anymore? No peanut brittle? It makes me sad.
I might be wrong on this, but I don't think dogs can eat onions. Just something to be aware of. Great Video!
Onions and tomatoes not recommended safe foods for dogs, neither grapes and chocolate
Biochar needs to be charged. Work it into your compost pile. It is like an uncharge super battery. It is like a twenty layer parking garage able to store things plant roots are looking for.
I have successfully germinated tomato seeds in 4 days in the egg incubator!!
Watch out for giving Teddy onion or garlic. They are both poisonous for dogs as are cherries.
The kids are such good workers. It's great to see the pride they take in their work.

Loved this video so much but be careful onions can make doggies sick! My little JRT mix survived after eating a whole blooming onion (walked away for just a second) she survived but she was very ill for a while.The amount you fed isn't a big deal but just for future reference tomatoes and onions aren't really that good for puppers. :) Love your videos!

Raw egg does not normally harm a dog. Many people put raw egg over the dry food. It is suppose to help keep the dogs coat shiny and healthy. Just a Little info. Hugs and prayers ya'll

I love you guys so much so please dont take offence to me giving advice, but you guys have got to tell the kids to quit chasing Teddy. Bring treats in your pockets and teach him to come to you. Chasing him can cause big issues in the future, and I've seen Jonah chase him multiple times on video. Also onions are something you do not want to feed dogs.

If you put a board over you carrots right after you plant them it will help keep them moist to germinate better and it will keep the seeds from washing away. I agree with Rebecca that the Sungold cherry tomatoes are really good. I started some for my garden.

Another Great Day on the Homestead. Dogs can't have Onions, Grapes and Raisins. There are others but couldn't look up without not being able to leave you message about the first 3. Lilly and Gideon sure we're flying down that hill lol. Was fun to watch kids being kids and enjoying it. I really like.the Pig Waterer how cute. More his size also. He wanted something to have responsibility for. That Garden was good idea. Are you going to Replace Donald with a Female Goose? Think it was mating thing causing him to attack the chickens? a bit of Butter, a bit of Water, a shake or two of Herbs de Province, Sliced crook neck yellow squash, sliced Tomato, Simmer until crook neck is just tender, and Justin you will be bugging Beauty to plant mroe Yellow Crook Neck Squash. Great with Chicken or Italian sausage. ZenHugs (actually if I'm doing it with Sausage, I cook the sausage and when its done I toss everything else on top of it, (without butter, since the sausage has good fat) and then, again, Yum!
I use charcoal tablets for my racing pigeons and they would also be good for your chickens

Hello from England Justin, been a sub for a while now but only just learnt Mr Brown's real name! I don't think you should feed onion or tomatoes to the dogs though, something to do with the chemical composition and their livers. All the best to you and yours.

I think the pigs might work on a field with long grass. you had them on Short grass.
Don't give Teddy any more onions. Dogs cannot eat onions because they can't metabolize the enzymes in the onions and they can get very sick. Most people food is not good for dogs.
Please be careful with the light hanging over the birds. A friend had the same setup and it fell killing all the chicks and starting a fire. 🔥

Don’t know if you’ve tried this, but I have problems with back and neck tension and I bought a tens machine (Compex brand) and it works wonders. Not as nice feeling as massage, but seems to last longer. Just a thought.

I've seen multiple videos with both heat plates, and heat lamps in the brooder. Is there a reason for this, or am I misunderstanding the idea of the heat plate? I've been looking at them as a replacement for the heat lamp, but I'm not sure I've got a grip on how to use them.
Onions are very bad for dogs! So are a lot of other foods. Might want to do some research of safe foods for him. You wouldn't want him getting sick. He's so sweet!!! Love you guys
