There is nothing quite like the awe of seeing history first hand. To hear or read about something, and then to be there. To touch history that is hundreds of years old. At least I felt that way.
So happy for your family and you to visit and take us with you. I will never be able to visit Japan, so your videos are very precious to me.

Like S, I love history and that museum was awesome. So interesting. I loved the shrines and Palace. You must have needed to rest up when you got home to recover from all that walking and climbing. I love the look of pagodas...they are so unique and beautiful. This place is so beautiful with all the green everywhere too. The temple was also amazing to see & so unique too, especially the foundation being built completely without using any nails!! Linna, I just love your blouse with the ruffles & yellow & gray colors...so pretty!! It's so good that your sons get to see what they study in school...such a wonderful investment into their futures too!! Such beautiful paintings in the Osaka castle & all of the figures look so realistic & delicately painted too. I have a very similar problem, Linna...I cannot do crowds...for some reason it causes my heart to race...I'm so sorry you had to experience this...maybe next time, you all can find a hotel that is in a quieter area. Thank you so much for sharing all the videos of your trip to Kyoto & Osaka...I so enjoyed seeing all the places you got to see. Blessings to you, dear, sweet Linna & your "boys" too!!🙏♥

It's nostalgic to me as I visited Osaka and Kyoto as well. :) I've been to Osaka only once for four days 12 years ago, visiting a friend who was studying at university there. I wish I've had know there was an Osaka museum of history. It looks so interesting. We did go to the bunraku puppet theater museum somewhere close the the castle. That was interesting as well.
8:05 having the flashbacks to the scene in The Mummy 2; The Mummy Returns when the wrestler turned actor The Rock had did his film debut as the Scorpion King & the crustecean CGI verson of half the crab body reminds me 🤣🤣🤣

It was a little weird seeing so many places i visited in osaka in your video, it felt like we took a trip together, thank you for showing the history museum! I have another trip in oct so im looking forward to seeing that too since I've never been there before.

I love Osaka it’s such an easy place to get around . And the people are Nice and friendly. Sadly I’m the only member of the family who like octopus so when I get it, it’s more of a treat for me. I like staying in places we’re there is a kitchen due to having a family with small children. The last place we stayed at also had a washing machine!
