We are all in debt to this very talented, and educated narrator. Professor Waldemar J. What a blessing you are! Thank you!

Oh Waldemar! Once again you trick me into watching a non- Waldemar video with your clever intro / thumbnail!
    You are so clever!

Was blessed to spend 5 days driving through the Loire River Valley and visited all of these, and more.
    Fabulous beyond my poor words.

Thank you. This is a very well documented and meticulously crafted VDO. I've been to some of the chateaux and so glad to be able to learn about them more from this VDO. Please keep on the good work. Your channel deserves more subscription.

This is a beautiful video and a much-needed respite from a frigid day here in Canada. I have escaped to the Loire, albeit too briefly. Merci.

Visit a chateaus garden exhibition where the onetime owner felt entitled to uproot two entire villages that his view may be improved, yeah right, AS IF.

A show about art that spends more time talking about salmon fishing and refurbishment of castle ramparts but neglects to provide any information about a 140 meter long tapestry other than to give measurements and subject matter. Bewildering.

Those castles are art in and of themselves. And the lifestyle they represent, as well as their immense upkeep, are art forms as well ;)

Do not forget that the most injustice, the worse imaginable border in the world is the border that splits my country Catalonia in two, which is the pyrenees border,an illegal border set up by illegal treaty that the EU should rid off and apply the 7th article to spain and france

Anne Boleyn, future Queen of England, would grow up in château like Blois and Amboise, in the court of François 1er and Queen Claude.

Never.french aristocracy didn’t learn royal matters or use cutlery until really late 16 century thanks to another Catalan princess like Caterine of Medici.
Official history has too many lies that we have to discard.

How sad that these beautiful places have to receive bus-loads of common, vulgar, peasant filth, in order to survive.
