Shortcut might be assigned to something else...for example ctrl+shft+d for creating midi doesn't work on my pc cuz its being utilised by my graphic card...i dont know the technicality but search on Abletons help forum u will find solution...
I only know windows - click on the bit of segment you want to split and hit Ctrl + E to make a cut. You can then move the two halves you've just made around or delete one or the other etc.
dang would’ve been nice to hear what it sounded like after you moved the clips around

Shift, Alt, Ctrl for windows users
using slice in sampler is so much easier lol
or you could just cut it yourself and use alt key to make gridless cuts

Or shift alt Ctrl

Why would you do all that but not show us what you did by playing it? What is this amateur hour?
I had to dislike this video because you did not show us the end result
Bro how did you split the clip in the first place?
I only know windows - click on the bit of segment you want to split and hit Ctrl + E to make a cut. You can then move the two halves you've just made around or delete one or the other etc.
I asked this too until i realized hw wasnt splitting, he was duplicating that first bar. Highlight and command D to duplicate
