We're ten months into living with my wife's '23 CRV Hybrid. Gotta say, I'm a diehard Audi fan but I've been really impressed with the tech and comfort of that small SUV. The only thing that might put me off of something like this is going to be the availability of public chargers. We do love to travel around the country, so it matters. Thanks Lynn, awesome video, ...as usual!
This product seems to be extremy well thought-out, the Honda engineers seem to have thought about the basics quite a lot. The design is almost understated but will probably age very well, too. Bummer I´m not in the EV camp, will there eventually be a conventional ICE variant?
2:10 the long wheel base is a benefit of EV cars. There's no drivetrain to take up space. So this is another advantage EVs have over regular ICE vehicles.
This misses the mark. In Canada, this is going to start at 65k CAD which is more than the top trim EV6 AWD, ID4 AWD, Ioniq 5 AWD and most of the Ariya lineup. The slower charging speed, and smaller is luggage space is not fitting to such a big and expensive car.
I agree, too expensive for the package. For the size the battery doesn't seem enough, if they are able to pull it off with software upgrades, that will be awesome. Hyundai Kona EV 22 is much smaller, a 72kw battery makes it zippy and easy to charge. Good start but the next model/s are what will help Honda catch up with competition
I'm a big fan of the way this looks but it's got a lot of GM DNA embedded in it. I'm curious to see what Honda does with an EV platform once they actually build one on their own.
@@Tucanaldeinversiones I don't think you quite understand what I mean. I mean that other manufacturers tend to be more realistic about their range than Tesla. The Prologue may well be competitive with the Model Y in real-world range.
I hesitate to buy this vehicle since it shares many integral parts with the Chevy Blazer EV and will be made in GM Mexico plant along with the Blazer. Honda is woefully behind in their in house EV design and production and this is their attempt to capture some of this market. Reminds me when the Honda Passport was made by Isuzu.

Honda will have their own system which they already have in their other gas vehicles. This is just a pre production car so lot of system not their to test. Once real one ready you will see it. Not as good as GM super cruise but they are ok in highway driving which i have in my CRV Hybrid.
Hmmm for a quick driving around within 150 miles radius,,, how is it justified between Model Y 332mile AWD ($42K) vs Honda Prologue 200+ miles AWD $51K I would take Model Y anytime!
Looks really great. Now that this is out, may I have a Honda Civic Hybrid, please? Also, I hope these interior elements will trickle down to the new Odyssey whenever it debuts -- maybe for the 2025 model year?
This right here. All I want is the exact car I have (2022 boost blue Honda Civic hatchback sport touring) but with the new Google interface and as a hybrid. Literally just that.
The starting trim is the EX trim, no surprise here since you get a lot of standard features like 11 inch instrument panel and 11.3 inch screen with google built-in, things like power adjusting seat control and dual zone climate controls should be standard as well. Also, it should have proximity key with walk away auto lock. Also expecting all the Honda sensing come standard.
Lyn's pants got a lot leg room. Also does anybody know what propulsion system the Jetson's car use? Also Also I'm surprised there isn't a drama series... you know what, nope nope nope nope nope
Smooth and beautiful design. This will sell well. Pricing is important through
Looks like the best electric suv! :) I can see why 90% of people prefer Hondas :)
I'd wait a few model years, about 5 years, to buy this Prologue. I'm definitely interested.
When you get to my age you can't think this far ahead. I just hope to still be living in fi'e years. Ha.

At 2:06 speaking of Honda Odyssey when is the next gen coming
Fantastic video Lyn!😸
this is going to age so much better than its GM counterparts...hell maybe even the ZDX too
The back is a copy and paste of the Range Rover Evoque. That’s not a bad thing tho, it looks good 🫡
Please move volumn down may be near air console to get full screen display on center!

who made those timestamps, they are high af
Right. "Driving impressions" yet no driving was shown.
I see CX-50 and Chevy Blazer had a baby.
Somthing must have got confused in the translations.....we asked for a new Prelude 😂😂
Prologue

Id be almos lt sold if theres a slight lift kit for better clearance. I wanna make it have the clearance of a 1st gen crv.
Is this the prologue of the prelude?
At least they didn't bring back that nameplate for this like the Blazer or Trailblazer, right?

Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this ev crossover here
This interior design is better than MDX and RDX
Great looking EV so far

What GM vehicles share this platform?
I like your review. But I wish reviews would mention if the vehicle has a spare tire.
It does not. Only that filla-flat stuff
Honda nerd here. I haaaaate the obviously GM interior door handles so much!
Very nice review!
Wonder if Honda will include 360 cameras since this is also a GM product. At that price point, it is at least, should be an option.
I like this host. Understated, pleasant.
How much?
Should start in the high $40,000 range but we were not given a definitive price.
Back side look like land Rover
This is basically an EV trailblazer with Honda badging, however with a better outside design. Everything else is GM.
It reminds me of the Isuzu pilot; Incongruent dna. The Honda e was cool, though. I love Honda btw.
Looks good but hard to compete with Tesla model Y when is faster better range and better pricing
Keep in mind that Tesla tends to exaggerate range figures, so Honda might not be worse off.
@@aurelian1 that matter cause then the range of honda will be even less then

Starts with a EX??? Not EXL??? It’s going to be $48k and have cloth seats. 😂 good lord.
I’m excited for what Acura does with this
ZDX

Exactly. Loved it until I heard “partnership with GM”.
It's 2023 soon to be 2024 and there just now making and electric vehicle I guess better late than never looks great though
Does this qualify for the federal tax credit?
Yes because it's component come for North America
I love it!! ❤
2:30 um no they look too gm
Super excellent 👌🏼
Initial reaction - good first draft, when is the real EV coming?
This car is Blazer EV's sister. It looks nice but blazer looks better with the back slope IMO.
Very handsome design. Confident and cohesive.
Isnt this just an ev blazer with honda badging?
Good to see honda jumping into the ev game

TAKE MY MONEYYYY honda!!!!!
Nice car, but I have nowhere to charge ut.
This car looks like something the Teku would drive...
People saying honda is behind in electric tech...i think that's not true...i think they have some ideas from battery tech from f1...
Little annoyed by how much this car costs yet it doesn't have GMs super cruise (and doesnt even have a Honda branded alternative).
Honda will have their own system which they already have in their other gas vehicles. This is just a pre production car so lot of system not their to test. Once real one ready you will see it. Not as good as GM super cruise but they are ok in highway driving which i have in my CRV Hybrid.
It’s pretty but a 40-50K+ price for 300 mile range would probably push people to a Honda Hybrid or a Tesla, maybe?
So nice great honda esuv.

color and wheels don't strike my fancy. neither does the fact that honda doesn't own all the IP... but seems pretty good.
GM has always had electrical issues...wonder how that will do in this
Looks nice, I like it

La totalmente vieja Honda Prologua
Did someone farted at 3:21
That was the arm rest. But thanks for looking out for us!
Lol hilarious comment and even more hilarious at the reply to debunk the accusation 😂
Great to see they can fit two nalgene in the cup holders!
Looks like an evoque
Where’s the mainstream EV from Toyota?
It took me less than 5 minutes to charge my F-150.
From 0 to ?? How much in 5 minutes???
@@mr.mahmudhossain8033 half full to full tank of gas.

Tired of all the crossovers and SUVs that all look the same.
Another car the average American cannot afford.
Like HP number was disappointing
This is a vehicle for the elderly.
Why is everyone a Tesla hater? 😂
Nice GM made Honda. GM Ultium Battery and chassis.
666k subs uhhhh
Doh!
Base in the high $40k? Wow, that sounds way over priced.

Stunner? Style maybe but no car should ever be that color.
3:13 heehee fart noise
Frunk?
No frunk on this one, unfortunately.
Better than ID-4, Aria, Ev6, Soltera & IONIC 5.
Honda exterior GM interior
Hello new Chevy Blazer EV in a different suit
The Volvo EX30 is cheaper than this!
one is a subcompact and the other is a mid-size, no shit, Sherlock.
Why does no reviewer ever drool and smother Tesla vehicles with this much praise. Hmm…I wonder why…
Meh
Yes to Honda. No to GM.
Ehh bland exterior design.
Get rid of that cheap garbage piano gloss black and give me the option to have matte black.
Nope
This is a GM car.....NOT a Honda.............I would expect problems.........Lots of problems.............Paul
Lyn's pants got a lot leg room. Also does anybody know what propulsion system the Jetson's car use? Also Also I'm surprised there isn't a drama series... you know what, nope nope nope nope nope
Nope! Doesn't look good at all..... looks terrible and who wants to sit on a Storm Trooper's lap??? 👎👎👎
🤣🤣
Boring wheels and lower case Honda? Wtf
Boring.
Probably no arm rest in the back row unless you buy the top trim. 🫤
