I do not think the Power handle is a gimmick when it comes to a closer shave. It actually does give a closer shave. I can not say whether its due to the connection points or vibration but they do work better than the standard handles. For the question about the Fusion 5 Power comparison to the Gillette Fusion Proglide with Flexball - I will be answering that on this comment section with your question after that video is released this week. "In this video I compare a shave with a modern (2022) Gillette Fusion 5 Power vs 2020 Gillette Fusion Proglide with Flexball Power and I came to the conclusion that they were very similar in shave by feel but I did notice that I had weepers still on the 2020 Gillette Proglide with Flexball Power side of my face after reviewing the video which to me says the 2020 Gillette Proglide with Flexball Power may have a closer shave afterall. In previous videos we have seen the standard Gillette Fusion Proglide handles/cartridges skip areas on the face while shaving. We have seen the Gillette 5 cartridge exfoliate better and perform better on standard handles. In the "2011 Gillette Fusion Proglide Power & Gillette Fusion 5 Power" video I received a similar shave.
