It just doesn’t gel with how I wanna play. Plus I can’t help but compare it to Zhalo. I know you bring that up in the vid but I just can’t get it out of my head while using it that I’m working hard to get something I used to just get for free.
I run this on my warlock and it’s great, it’s less good on hunter and titan b/c amplified isn’t as free as collecting an ionic trace. All in all I love the build but it’s inferior to the coldheart arc warlock build. I want it to be good on titan with actium, but titans don’t get free amplified like warlocks. All your vids are 10/10
Auto rifles are definitely dominating the fun factor right now honestly. Centrifuse, QSS, Sweet Business and Tommy's. I'm even running Monte Carlo with that new Titan aspect.
I'm running chroma rush right now. I just really like it and it feels so, so good regardless of game mode. They gotta bring it back with an origin trait soon

Melting entire waves of ads in Gambit, strikes, or a seasonal activity is an entirely different power fantasy than a loadout that prioritizes survival and high burst damage in something like a master raid or GM. We can have both, and we can appreciate weapons regardless of which category they fall into.
Using this gun with Getaway Artist is an Arc-lock's wet dream. Constant amplified uptime means the gun almost always operates at full charge. Arc buddy helps melt people in PvP which means you're blinding people more often than not. What an iconic duo.
I was having an absolute blast with it in pve after I tried an arc build with transversive steps and found that they reloaded it without losing the charge. Once I've completed the catalyst that's going to push that to 11 in the fun department.
I used it in a master nightfall with the same light level difference as GM at the time and it still smacked. Being able to pick off a weak add to blind the strong ones around it, blind all the snipers when u pick off one, etc. just was so much free value on top of being anti-barrier. If ur running arc in a GM (which IMO is pretty optimal for titan and hunter, less so for warlock but still good) it’s an amazing weapon at a ton of ranges. I recommend trying it out
It's an amazing substitute for coldheart in the storm caller ability spam build. You can blind enemies without needing a special weapon. Frees up a fragment slot and has infinite ammo.
I actually paired it with mask of bakris and it was very VERY consistent. With the new change to bakris once you dodge in pvp you gain a dmg buff(6 percent). thats not a lot but its just enough to make a difference.
Yeah this shreds even in Master Nightfalls. Been farming em all week using a Stag Arc Warlock build and Centrifuse has been doing great even without the catalyst.
I came back to destiny 5 months ago, picked up arc strider and with the at the time new riskrunner I thought my new favorite class was getting some love… I was wrong. At least for light fall I was. Upon opening this new season and seeing the artifact and centrifuse my jaw dropped. I had felt that I was already keeping up great with later game content but I was always reminded that other classes were simply better options. I can already hear my fireteams voice seeing their new little arc strider start topping the charts. Update: I’m topping charts now and it’s not even close, I’ve converted 3 players in LFG just this morning. Season of the deep is for us bolty boys and no one can convince me otherwise
Shock and awe artifact mod, is ridiculous even if you're not using this auto, any weapon with volt shot, arc dragonfly, or chain reaction, or even a arc melee final blow, turns them into a mini cloud strike, the only issue I have with the mod is the lightning strikes are on a cool down.
I always hate when people use GMs as the *only* standard people use to decide whether a new gun/exotic armour is worth your time, there’s so many fun builds that are called trash just because they don’t carry you at the hardest difficulty, it’s a dang shame
The Centrifuse has to be my absolute favorite auto-rifle in the game and probably one of my favorite exotics! The fact that it's not hot garbage in PvP is just a sweet cherry on top!
The catalyst even permits this gun to be useful when standing in a rift using say escape artist to become amplified. A steady stream of Ionic traces keep the amplify state, it feels like a special weapon not a primary.
Gotta say, it feels a bit shit without the catalyst. Just found myself running out of ammo constantly in PvE, then having to sprint in circles -either to reload or to regain my charge after manually reloading. Very occasionally I'd find myself in a spot where ads were spaced out correctly and I could just run and gun, but most of the time I would run out of ammo before everything was dead, and then the whole loop breaks down.
My idea for the catalyst was the weapon to “at full charge, the weapon gains explosive rounds that blind targets on the hit” (the blind would only work in PVE I'm not psychotic)
While I love this gun, and after seeing this I'm super excited to get the catalyst and get an amplified ape build going... I SO want Necro to come to D2. That gun was so much fun in D1.

I’m loving this weapon. Yesterday I surpassed my personal kill record in a pvp game with this bad boy (teamed up with an adept surplus boxed breathing Hung Jury). So much fun.
I was hoping the catalyst would improve the reload in some way fttc or subsistence something to help keep that magazine full without the use of an exotic
im a titan main, and when i was using this gun at first i recognized that it had potential but just slapping it onto my hoil load out wasn’t really working for me. i grabbed an actium war rig from my vault and started using that and it was so much better immediately. before, i was having the constant issue of needing to reload or swap weapons too much so i would lose the charge but with war rig you can shoot for longer and just sprint to get a lot of ammo back fast. i dont have the time to really grind out the catalyst but ive been doing it little by little. the main downside of it is that you lose the charge quite often in pve due to it only being good on trash mobs, since it’s single target damage is just that of a 450 auto with only the boost from surge mods if you use that. but now that i dont have to reload nearly as often, or ever really, it just makes it so much more fun
@@Honed- still viable off arc, just not max potential, it’s plenty fun off it. If you don’t like it off of arc then tbh you probably just don’t like auto rifles, which is fine
@@cailinch.6633 i'm merely referring to it in pve, but in pvp, running around like an idiot doesn't do it much justice, this is strictly an arc subclass wep. witch im sure its great when your on it. but off it...? i don't know it can have its usage. but as soon as you need to reload and cant run, your f'ed. the proc is lost unless your ampped. the damage looks good tho, but you have to keep moving or shooting to keep the benefit going.. if you hesitate for a fraction of a second you lose your advantage. the thing i think counteracts this problem the most is war rig. essantionally giving you double the bullet reload, and could be very good.. butttt thats only for titans. pve, id rather a riskrunner or the lightning exotic bow for add clear. and those two are good no matter what subclass your on.
@@Honed- I mean I kinda main pvp so I’m talking from a pure pvp standpoint, and I tend to stick in 3v3s, comp and trials so I never see the issues too much. A lot of 3v3 is trading damage till you get a pick, I like the fact that I don’t need down time to reload, just sprint a couple seconds and I have enough bullets to technically down a target. It’s definitely way better on arc, yea no kidding, but it as an auto feels so good that I don’t even care. I use it on stasis hunter and perform well even without the catalyst being procced. All I’m sayin is it’s still a great gun in general
My biggest frustration with this weapon is that, even if you cancel the reload with a sprint, the mere act of *starting* a reload will drain the charge. The charge also drains too quickly when you're not sprinting/firing and requiring Amplified to not lose charge when doing things like activating things/reviving allies is frustrating.
but it reloads as you sprint... it'd be too op if it doesn't drain as fast as it does when reloading, and you also have the benefit of it returning ammo simply by running. The gun is surprisingly very balanced because of that. Edit: Oh and lets not forget it synergized with arc (as it's intented) and while amplified, you don't actually lose charge at all.
Also as you get more practice on this thing it almost like a pendulum, when it swings it cuts but respect when it needs to be drawn back up. No to mention the hun is sorta a beast at close ranges with little to no charge
@@Mr-R.R. There's a difference between "synergy" and "practically mandatory" just to make the weapon not feel overly punishing to use. Also, having to sprint around to reload doesn't do you any good when you're stuck behind cover, and you're stuck behind cover all the time in even moderately-difficult content thanks in no small part to Bungie's insistence that the AI needs to be hyper aggressive in order to be threatening there. Losing your ad-clear because Bungie designed the game to punish the very thing the weapon is asking you to do is lame.

Everything about this weapon is about speed and aggressive gameplay and it being an arc weapon, it's perfectly perfect that it works even better with that class (which is an aggressive subclass). You're being rewarded in sooo many other ways than you aren't. Losing your charge (when not amplified) because you're reloading but there's a billion and one ways to get your charge back and keep it, is perfectly valid. Bungie did a really good job here. They actually made a weapon for a subclass that is supposed to work even better with that subclass. And they actually made a catalyst so good that it's considered mandatory - not because it's shit without it, but because it's even better you'd be stupid not to have it on.

But you do you, I suppose. EDIT: Catalyst "so good it's mandatory"? Nah, dawg, that's not what makes it mandatory. It's mandatory just so the gun doesn't feel awful to use on a single subclass. That's the worst kind of mandatory.
450's are my favourite weapon in all of destiny2 so have been in love with this since launch of the season. still feels weird though being forced to play a run and gun style with a 450. I would prefer if it just had higher base range and dragonfly or some type of blinding effect on kills after reload etc. Another good 450 this season is the return of 'positive outlook' has really low aim assist on paper but feels really good. as well as being a void 450 has a big, but very good perk pool also. my best roll at the minute is zen moment and destabilizing rounds with range masterwork
I dont have the cat yet, but even so my only gripe with this thing is indirect. I was really hoping to get a new Voltshot AR this season, since we finally have anti barrier ARs again after two seasons of pulse rifles. The Dark Decider has been poorly reviewed, and is locked behind Iron Banner, so i was hoping for something more solid and more accessible; like a reworked Arc Logic for instance. I think the fact that they gave us an exotic blinding AR this season is a big reason we didnt get a good voltshot AR for a season where the artifact gives us arc heavy perks and anti barrier AR
I completely agree, the catalyst makes this weapon so much better than at base that its pretty much mandatory. Warlocks on Sunstar especially, being able to maintain max charge practically indefinitely even while stationary is S-teir, no question.
My one complaint with this weapon is this would’ve been the perfect opportunity to make an exotic that can shoot while sprinting, cuz like everyone is saying, this is basically the epitome of “run and gun”
Auto rifles in general are very underrated in pvp, they are very forgiving compared to other weapons and if you can get a solid roll with high range you will be impressed by the performance at a distance. I rarely play pvp but on the rare occasion, auto rifles are my go to. I have also used centrifuge in pve and it is a lot of fun, although I usually find myself preferring double specials in most activities. The anti barrier is a very nice bonus regardless.
after gettting kills with this weapon in trials to guild my flawless I've really come around to it. Hated it at first but then on titan with anteaus its nice to not have to stop sprinting to reload
I’ve been using the strand sniper with enhanced keepaway and enhanced opening shot, my auto has been Amit with enhanced surplus an tap the trigger, I run wintersbite for heavy
I like this with actium. When it runs out of ammo just run a bit and 2 things get it topped up super fast. Prob just as good with the warlock boots that reload when running.
Yes sir, love this auto, I was never much into Auto but thing thing is fun, but the catalyst is taking a bit of time to complete, I think I need to run more high-end Strikes
The only thing they could've done different was giving it subsistence along with the catalyst. That would really helped it out to keep slaying without always having to run. Or maybe when amplified you don't lose charges while reloading.
The speed with which the catalyst was advancing broke my spirit. I was fairly certain if I spent the weeks necessary to complete it that I would be so sick of the gun that I couldn't use it afterwards.

i stopped using transverse steps becuase i thought the reloading was redundant but knowing it doesnt loose its overcharge is a game changer fr.

i'm not really a big fan of AR in pvp as well as in pve, but there's something about this one makes it so satisfying to shoot

The problem with this gun is how slow the movement based reloading is. It’s just so damn slow for 3secs of firing.
Been slaying in ib with this beast and don’t even have the catalyst yet. Fun weapon and 30 plus kill games make it a must have.
Sweet Business is great on strand hunter right now with the exotic helmet. I would recommend it.

@@ForeverLaxx it just sounds like this weapon isn't for you. Everything about this weapon is about speed and aggressive gameplay and it being an arc weapon, it's perfectly perfect that it works even better with that class (which is an aggressive subclass).
You're being rewarded in sooo many other ways than you aren't. Losing your charge (when not amplified) because you're reloading but there's a billion and one ways to get your charge back and keep it, is perfectly valid. Bungie did a really good job here. They actually made a weapon for a subclass that is supposed to work even better with that subclass. And they actually made a catalyst so good that it's considered mandatory - not because it's shit without it, but because it's even better you'd be stupid not to have it on.
@@Mr-R.R. Or I can just use a One-Two Punch aggressive Shotgun while spamming dodge/melee while invisible, clearing ads and healing to full for free if I wanted to be aggressive *and* not die for it.

EDIT: Catalyst "so good it's mandatory"? Nah, dawg, that's not what makes it mandatory. It's mandatory just so the gun doesn't feel awful to use on a single subclass. That's the worst kind of mandatory.

They’re used in higher end content when “Attrition” is active. They give you back your health whenever you kill an enemy and pick them up.
450's are my favourite weapon in all of destiny2 so have been in love with this since launch of the season. still feels weird though being forced to play a run and gun style with a 450. I would prefer if it just had higher base range and dragonfly or some type of blinding effect on kills after reload etc.
Another good 450 this season is the return of 'positive outlook' has really low aim assist on paper but feels really good. as well as being a void 450 has a big, but very good perk pool also. my best roll at the minute is zen moment and destabilizing rounds with range masterwork
I absolutely love this weapon in PvP.
I dont have the cat yet, but even so my only gripe with this thing is indirect. I was really hoping to get a new Voltshot AR this season, since we finally have anti barrier ARs again after two seasons of pulse rifles. The Dark Decider has been poorly reviewed, and is locked behind Iron Banner, so i was hoping for something more solid and more accessible; like a reworked Arc Logic for instance.
I think the fact that they gave us an exotic blinding AR this season is a big reason we didnt get a good voltshot AR for a season where the artifact gives us arc heavy perks and anti barrier AR
I completely agree, the catalyst makes this weapon so much better than at base that its pretty much mandatory. Warlocks on Sunstar especially, being able to maintain max charge practically indefinitely even while stationary is S-teir, no question.
My one complaint with this weapon is this would’ve been the perfect opportunity to make an exotic that can shoot while sprinting, cuz like everyone is saying, this is basically the epitome of “run and gun”

Been running it on an arc titan with Eternal Warrior and having a blast.
Auto rifles in general are very underrated in pvp, they are very forgiving compared to other weapons and if you can get a solid roll with high range you will be impressed by the performance at a distance. I rarely play pvp but on the rare occasion, auto rifles are my go to.
I have also used centrifuge in pve and it is a lot of fun, although I usually find myself preferring double specials in most activities. The anti barrier is a very nice bonus regardless.
This with Frost3s is fantastic together
after gettting kills with this weapon in trials to guild my flawless I've really come around to it. Hated it at first but then on titan with anteaus its nice to not have to stop sprinting to reload

Ok catalyst will vastly improve this for me. I love Quicksilver Storm for PvE / Strand Build. I was hoping Centrifuse could be my Arc weapon.

I tried doing catalyst with Titan with the Actium War Rig and it wouldn't feed like with Sweet Business, which was weird.
I initially thought that was the play but then I saw the catalyst.
I’ve been using the strand sniper with enhanced keepaway and enhanced opening shot, my auto has been Amit with enhanced surplus an tap the trigger, I run wintersbite for heavy
I like this with actium. When it runs out of ammo just run a bit and 2 things get it topped up super fast. Prob just as good with the warlock boots that reload when running.
Yes sir, love this auto, I was never much into Auto but thing thing is fun, but the catalyst is taking a bit of time to complete, I think I need to run more high-end Strikes

The only thing they could've done different was giving it subsistence along with the catalyst. That would really helped it out to keep slaying without always having to run. Or maybe when amplified you don't lose charges while reloading.

The speed with which the catalyst was advancing broke my spirit. I was fairly certain if I spent the weeks necessary to complete it that I would be so sick of the gun that I couldn't use it afterwards.
Im kind of suprised that the catalyst didnt add perpetual motion to the gun. It would have fit the theme perfectly
no it wouldnt u aint supose to reload the weapon u would lose all the charge u been building
Subsistence would've been a better fit. I feel like it should be reloading by itself anytime anywhere anyplace.
