"The mind is a far better warrior than the sword"
Great line!
Not after someone figured out how to split the atoms and revealed God true intentions.
Go and read the book: Art of War from Sun Tzu! You idiot! It's a stupid line!
@@bavykieng7777 The Germans knew how to split them! But the USA used it!
The young actor who played Ivar is a real tour de force. Brilliant.
Guys I haven't watched all series but I want to. I've a question
Why did ubbe go to America??
Did he become a king again??
Ivar was the reason for many people to continue the show after ragnar's death
ubbe is the reflection of ragnar through and through.. nvm the looks he was keen to explore and find new lands (so was bjorn) but more for fame than for his people. ubbe is the most important remaining character if you ask me and he tied the ending together with floki who had been there from the start.. in a way its like ragnar and floki were together again. and also ubbe was the only son the have a 1vs1 badass duel like ragnar did to become earl
People talk as if only one of ragnars sons are a reflection. But each of ragnars sons mirrored him in a way. To explain it easier, if you put them all together than it would make ragnar
Ivar and Bjorn are the reason why I never stopped watching Vikings
I stopped watching, n now I sad I did, but happy that Bron n ivar. I fell in love again. 😍
Ivar was my favorite. And ever since I was in an accident in july 2019,and cant walk atm. He has sort of become an inspiration to rise again. I knew his destiny, cause I knew his story. So I hoped it would be honored with how it was. And what an ending. Couldnt have done it better. But I cried, damn I cried. Its different seeing it then reading it. And the relationship with Hvitserk. What a team. And the acting by Both in his death scene was absolutely phenomenal. If you dont manage to see the good side in Ivar, only the bad...then you havent had much hardships in life.
This character became a weird inspiration for me as well. At a very strange time.
I’m so sorry to hear about your accident but I’m sending you vibes that you will heal and become stronger than you were before. Be Ruthless! With yourself...and the fears that hold you back.
Ubbe fulfilled the dream of Ragnar the farmer, Bjorn the dream of Ragnar the king, Hvitserk of Ragnar’s faith and Ivarr fulfilled the dream of Ragnar the Viking.
These actors will go on to do great things if they choose to. This series was beyond anything I've ever seen.
You are so so right!! There are so many actors on this show that are award winning. Travis, Katherine, Alexander,Alex, Gustof, and so many more. They all deserve awards!
"The child rejected and unloved by the village will burn it down just to feel it's warmth"
It’s crazy how he talked about never being forgotten and 1200 years later we are actually still talking about him
except he was really Ivar the boneless not because he was a cripple but because there was a bone he just couldn't ...get.. up....
This is so good omg! For me, this was the most emotionnal ivar tribute I saw. Well done!
After RAGNAR died 😢, Ivar was the only reason I finish the seasons. He's smart, fearless, a leader, a king. For a cripple he out did everyone. That's why he's the star of vikings.
Not saying this sarcastically
He was fearless even though his last words were “I’m afraid”
@@aplaystationcontroller7814 He was afraid to be forgotten not to die. That was the meaning of it.
He was a cruel king:/ he was a dictator
And he wasn't even fearless, remember his last words when he was dying.
He may be intelligent, but he is a fucking coward. He do not deserve Valhalla. Even Hell will reject him
Hvitserk and Ivar's last scene, when they finally confessed their love for one another, really had a man destroyed and literally crying real tears!😭😭😭💔
I'm still shivering, I loved this tv show so much, I loved this character so much and your tribute is wonderful.
"Ivar the boneless, scourge of the world".
I swear.....Alex’s portrayal is absolutely award winning!!! He (like so many on this show) should really win outstanding awards!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ivar is who his father wanted to be. Smart relentless passionate and thinks beyond themselves
Bullshit💩, Only thing Ragnar would want from Ivar is his Ruthlessness.....Ragnar has everything else; no one can think like Ragnar.
In this regard ragnar was a reinvented viking one for a new age the future ivar however was a viking a true viking of old its not that he didnt care about his people its that the way he was raised by floki as well as his true deamener that he didnt think the weak desearved a place in his world in the true viking world what vikings were ment to be thats why he killed his own people and went to war with them as well
In the end ivar is who ragnar wished he could be 100% but ragnar simply was not that way and instead embraced his difference which as the show depicts opened up hundreds of avenues
@@trjngd why?,i mean you don't really know who ragnar wanted to be stoopid he is who he is not you who chooses who he ragnar wanted to be
Each of Ragnar's sons represent each sides of him and Ivar the boneless represents his Ruthless side
@@katocs he told him to be ruthless and to punish those who underestimated them. Unfortunately, he was stuck like that. Never finding peace which is why his life has always been war and war and more wars because he was honoring Ragnar. Remember when he was talking to Bjorn. What Bjorn said about Ragnar's legacy and Ivar's reply. It is true. It was just unfortunate that Ragnar gave Ivar that piece of his legacy.
People think bjorn is the hero and Ivar the villain, but those who know understand Ivar's value in this series. Carried the whole show after Ragnar's death!
Bjorn was just a terrible husband and an irresponsible father. Certainly not my idea of a hero.
Ragnar was unpredictable, Ivar is insane, and this whole show is the best show I have watch until this living day of mine.
Ivar hurts a lot before he became a ruthless ruler, which is as his dad told him to do
I loved his character so much for he is clever, he's inspirational, giving a new light that no one should ever be underestimated. Everyone can be a huge legend. This is amazing, Btw.
I loved this video, glad i found it, it's amazing!
Wow that was truly beautiful. Never seen the show but that edit is really emotional and a true tribute to the character! Well done brother!
I started seeing the show ater watching these videos
And now I enjoy them even more 👍
If you’ve never seen the show I’d say watch it but at the same time don’t if you can’t handle it
“Do you know who I am? You can’t kill me! Do you know who I am? I am ivar the boneless, IVAR THE BONELESS, you can’t kill me!”
Hi! I just wanted to say thank for this amazing edit. I'm 15 and have disabled in my right leg and arm all my life. Ivar has now become a beacon of hope for me in life. This edit was pure magic I have watched it like 15 times and I all ways tear up at the last part because I just relate to him so much. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you loved the edit I really wish you good health and hope you stay strong and have a great future ahead!
Man, ever since I've finished the show I've been watching lots of edits about Ivar because a lot of youtubers started making them in this period and each one of them was incredibly well done. Including yours. The difference between your tribute and the other ones I saw, is that they're more epic-ish, yours is more emotional and, not gonna lie over here, but it made me shed a tear too. Ivar is a ridiculously great character, and you did a wonderful job portraying that, I mean it. Keep up the good work! 🥇
Ivar just wanted to be remembered as the greatest Viking to ever lived. He didn't want people see him as a crippled. He had to scream his name out in the world he has to be ruthless. Just to get the same recognition has Bjorn got when he was just a teenager.
@@katocs well then isn't that in true viking spirt? Also he seeked loved from his father. His father did tell him to be ruthless so...... he was.
People hate ivar bc of what he was now. Dude was literally bullied his entire life which is the cause for all that built of anger and craziness. Ivar was truly the best
He's made his papa proud. Ragnar gave him his greatest weapon, his love: wrath.
Ragnar only accepted Ivar when he was about to die floki raised Ivar and treated him more like a son than Ragnar ever did.
What a splendid and ever evolving character, especially in his Kievan Rus period. This sequence is moving and does him all due justice!
Ivar was my favorite character of that show after Ragnar died. His charismatic character really stood out. You loved him even though he had his evil moments - well more than moments. I hope to one day see Alex Andersen act in something else.
He died as like as ragnar he chose this
Imagine all of them being together versus whole world.
Just imagining this brings me to tears imagine Ragnar sons Vs the whole world I would cry to see them together again and the whole world under their boots
After ragnar. I continue watching Viking because of Bjorn and Ivar. At some point of the movie, I was really pissed at Ivar's doing. Ivar the boneless a great tactician.
Ivar was the closest one of his sons to follow in his father's footsteps. Such a great actor!
Ubbe was the actual one to follow and continue the dream of ragnar (by discovering the new land)
“The mind.. is a far better warrior than the 🗡….” Still rings true today.
I love this. Ivar had the soul of the old vikings and I always loved that about him. Truly a Legendary character
nobody mentions how beautifully edited and cut this video was kinda got emotional watching it.
« My heart is broken... » 💔 Hail King Ivar, a true legend ! The best character of the show in my opinion. Alex’s performance was truly powerful ! Thanks for this incredible tribute.
Yes, he is quite an actor, especially playing such a difficult subject as Ivar. However, the real Ivarr Ragnarsson was NEVER a King !
@@RayB1656 You should check your sources... Actually he was a unicorn. 🦄 Or a ninja turtle... 🐢 Nevermind, you know nothing Jon Snow.
I am the blood of my father which resonates thru them all..I just enjoyed rewatch for the 5th time..and will again...⚘️
Ivar was my favourite character after Ragnar;so much pain yet so much perespective...i hope everyone who watched Vikings could see his good side...
Regardless of his Individual story. His life goes to show how much parents matter in a child's life. How much a parent can alter the course of their child's life. Truly Beautiful. His father believes in him. So he's believed in himself
actor that played Ivar is amazing and unforgettable :) excellent
This is the difference between Ivar and Tyrion. Both intelligent great leaders, one had the love and backing of his family, the other was just mocked despite his greatness.
“Don’t be afraid...” shank shank shank!!!
Beautiful video for Ivar! I really love the way you ended, with the scenes involving Ivar and Hvitserk. Great job!
You know who I am. I am Bjorn Ironside, son of Ragnar. I grew up with many of you. You were my neighbors, my friends. We played together when we were children. I am not your enemy! Ivar is your enemy! He rules over you with tyranny and cruelty.
They were the ones that did not accept Ivar as he is, all of them even Ragnar included and they also kept plotting and betraying him but Ivar was always 5 steps ahead of them and they kept underestimated him so this was Bjorn's last resort because he wasn't gonna get near Ivar, ever! and then that crazy bitch betrayed Ivar.
When Ivar was first shown in the show his eyes were blue as blue at time of his death
@@All_Knowing_Truth Should've joined forces with Arya Stark! :P ;)
That was so beautiful and so emotional definitely another masterpiece from u
Ivar Must have his own continuous Series...His story only....❤❤
Ivar is the great viking and the person who had played the ivar character has justified this role.i love the acting of Alex hog anderson
Just hearing the name ivar the boneless and knowing he's the son of ragnar at that point your like he was raised by a viking that looked death in the fucking eye and laughed I wouldn't fuck with him
5:55 is the most emotional part accompanied by that amazing music
Rreally wonderful 🤗
“There is good in every bad person and bad in every good person”- pretty much sums up the entire show. I love this show so much! Better than Game of Thrones 😅
Just brilliant, I can't stop watching this one, thanks man 👊 the whole combination of music & scenes, perfect 👌
Certified Legend
The part where it showed flashbacks of Floki remembering the happy times with Ivar...those killed me 💔😭
Valhalla welcomes the most ferocious Viking to have ever lived. May his time in Odin's Hall be a glorious one.
ALL HAIL IVAR THE BONELESS!
I always wondered that when Ivar died and went to Valhalla, was he able to walk or no? I'd think I'd be interesting if he was able to walk.
@@trex6188 Odin would probably have fixed his legs. The Einherjar need to be in the best shape when Ragnarok comes.
@@qarmatianwarhorse6028 Yeah, that makes sense, though it would change a lot about him, not just physically, but also mentally, with Ivar not hating his legs and not being so enraged about it all the time.
@@trex6188 Truthfully, Ivar evolved beyond a self-loathing cripple by Season 6. His legs being healed would not detract from his mental faculties in the least anymore.
Brought me to tears. Beautiful story of a real man
Ivar’s death was the saddest even though he was the meanest. Lovely the way they did that and his acting.
Ivar was clearly crazy. Demented. Illogical. But e was a very smart tactician. It’s unfortunate that he split from the family. I believe that if the brothers stayed together and the fight between Ivar and Bjorn never happened, they would have ruled all of those lands
Bjorn was never interested in being the king or becoming one. He was more interested in sailing the seas and exploring other parts of the world and raiding, until Ivar became king, then he decided he wanted to be king because "Ragnar would have wanted it to be so". For all we know, Ragnar would have wanted Ivar to be the ONE but Bjorn used his father's name to get people on his side.
He was more of a man and a Viking than most on this show. And the fact he was underestimated because of his disability made him even more dangerous.
The best character after season 4! I will miss Vikings! So many great characters than will be unforgettable for a long time
Bjorn death caused me pain i even stopped watching the series but this movie was the greatest of all time
My favorite son of Ragnarok,Ivah❤️
We have no choice, but to respect the underdog. It's who we are, coming form nothing, to ruling the world.
But, this strength can also be a weakness.
The scene in the York battle when he crashes was insane. That scene must have been crazy to film.
"Veist þú ekki hver ég er? Þú getur ekki drepið mig! Ég er Ívar Beinlausi! Þú getur ekki drepið mig!"
"Don't you know who I am? You can't kill me! I am Ivar the Boneless! You can't kill me!"
The moment when he breaks his legs is so sad with the music. Good job
Ivar und Ragner haben einen Oscar verdient
I may have not seen the series, but I gotta say this edit was amazing man :D
It was ssooooo Well Edited
He was great in this role! But I thought Ivar was quite evil for the way he turned against his brothers. His father never turned against his family! He always gave them a choice!!
It was a necessary evil. If it wasn’t for some of the things he did bjorn wouldn’t have been forced to grow and take on certain leadership roles. If it wasn’t for some of the great battle with each other their stories wouldn’t have been so great. Nor would bjorn have died in the epic way he did solidifying him and his greatness
The dychotomy of good and evil was so well done in this show.
This World Never Forgat Your Legacy
Ivar The Boneless👑
Ivar did what he did. But nobody can denie that he was one of the best characters in the show. And Ivar's actor Alex Høgh Andersen did a very great job his acting skills are amazing good.
Wow! This edit is a Masterpiece! No one will ever forget Ivar the boneless cause of this brilliant tribute you made. Thank you so so much! #HailKingIvar
I love vikings i love ivar i love ragnar floki bjorn and everyone this serie will always stay in my heart
I enjoyed Vikings so much, its time to.watch it again
Best tv show Vikings
Is my favorite character
He was not a cripple, He was a special person
I've been having a hard day today and this made it a lot better. You always post at the perfect time, ty
IVAR was the reason people contined to watch after ragnar died!
Ivar...you can't be forgotten...my favorite too...
Beautifully edited and a perfect tribute to the real MVP of Vikings after Ragnars death. Ivar the boneless!
Man this was amazing. The best Ivar tribute on the internet, well done Gamerstrix! It perfectly captures who Ivar was as a person across all the entire series.
This moment 🤯 1:49 i am ivar the boneless 💪
Goosebumps 🥺
The thing about Ivar is that you wouldn't expect him to be as equally strong in the actual battlefield as he would be in strategizing war, but he is. Many characters with great minds but with disabilities tend to stay on the backline thinking about strategies and is a total coward or useless in actual combat. Ivar is not. He is a literal badass in that department as well.
My father's family claim their descent from Ivar. As a dynasty of warrior-nobility, their continued profession of arms as military commanders across the centuries appears unique in European history.
If I had to choose, I'd say Ivar the Boneless stands out the most for me, though it's hard to compare anyone to Ragnar Lodbrok, who still holds the top spot in my mind. And of course, Bjorn Ironside, with all his strength and legacy, follows closely behind them both
You can't tell me ivar is not the coolest son of Ragnar
@@remmy1219 for me it's ivar because of the fact that he is a crupple and still everyone fears him. At the beginning everyone thought he's no threat to them but in the end he was the biggest threat and he is so smart too he pretty much won every battle he was in. Even the Saxons feared him more than anyone else. He just built up so much glory until his death.
I really liked Bjorn.. I wasn't a fan of Ivar for awhile after Ragnar died. But he really grew on me, and may have become my favorite throughout this last season.
Ivar the Boneless was done dirty in the end, but the short period in which I got to watch him, I've been amazed. I did wish that in the end, Bjorn and Ivar teamed up against the Rus. The one flaw was turning them against each other. In a way, it made this hard to watch. Bjorn and Ivar were my favorite characters and it was really sad seeing Bjorn die.
