    Hey All,
In this video I share with you a day in the life of Gladys who sells bread within the ghanaian community for a living.
Gladys sells local Ghanaian bread known as Tea bread. She picks it up from the local bakery and returns the next day to give the owner of the bakery her share of the profit. I interviewed the owner of the bakery and she also teaches us how to make Ghanaian bread, that will be coming up in a another video shortly. I hope you are able to get a glimpse of the average Ghanaian woman and the Ghanaian culture through my video.
    xx

The lady who gives her the commission to start with that's a good idea for one who don't have a capital to commence a business. Jasmin I can see an award heading your way for this documentary especially giving us the raw uncut footage. I CONGRATULATE 'JASMIN AMA', FOR BEING THE KIND OF COMPASSIONATE WOMEN, WHO CAN LOOK PAST THE SURFACE AND SHOW PEOPLE AS THEY ARE, AND HOW THEY COPE WITH DIFFICULT SURVIVAL. HER CAREER AS A SOCIAL WORKER SHOWS BRIGHTLY AS SHE MAKES A BALANCE BETWEEN THOSE WHO HAVE RESOURCES, AND THOSE WHO DO NOT. BUT, SHOWING THE HUMANITY ANS GOOD WILL IN BOTH SITUATIONS.
AFRICAN WOMEN HAVE BEEN STRONG SINCE THE BEGINNING OF HUMANITY, AS THEY WERE THE BEGINNING OF HUMANITY! HER ROUTINE MATCHES THAT OF MILLIONS OF BLACK PEOPLE IN AMERICA'S SOUTH, AND POVERTY GHETTOS OF MANY CITIES. WE ARE MOSTLY FROM GHANA, NIGERIA, ANGOLA, THE CONGO, THE GAMBIA, AND THE 'GOLD COAST'. THE CULTURAL SIMILARITIES AND NATURAL WORK ETHIC ARE IDENTICAL.
AFRICANS MUST REALIZE THAT MOST AFRICAN-AMERICANS ARE NOT AFFLUENT. ANY YOU SEE THERE WERE ABLE TO BUILD RESOURCES TO MOVE, BUT ARE NOT THE TYPICAL PEOPLE HERE. THE SAME GOES FOR CHINESE THERE. THE AVERAGE PERSON IN CHINA IS DIRT POOR AND RURAL. THE AVERAGE POOR PERSON ANYWHERE IS FAR TOO POOR TO EVER LEAVE THEIR HOME. UNLESS FORCED TO MOVE OR MADE TO FOR LABOR, THE POOR ARE WHERE THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN.
THE 'MARKET WOMEN' THERE, CREATING A MEAGER LIVING, WITH NO SOCIAL NET OR SUPPORT, LOOK LIKE ANY POOR BLACK AMERICAN. REMEMBER THAT. WE ARE OF FAMILIAR IN ORIGIN, BUT DIFFER GREATLY IN EXPERIENCES FOR ALMOST HALF A MILLENNIUM. I ALWAYS WATCH THIS VLOG CONTENT, AND "NATURAL GHANA GIRL" AND LEARN MUCH MORE THAN JUST THE GO-GO HYPE ON MANY OTHER EX-PAT VLOGS.

Dear Jasmine, I have been following your vlogs for sometime now. Some of them I really like and some not, but no because of the fact that they were bad, just was not my theme. I really also have to say thank you for reporting about the lives of the common people, grateful for your hard work, getting up early and going around with this hard working lady, very grateful that we still have such mothers around. LG Victor

Again nice for the spot lights on local and small scale businesses. It's good each and every one trying to find something doing so to earn their living. My focus and concern is that Ghana as a developing country should strengthen the agencies that are responsible for supervising these small scale businesses especially those into some type of food processing and operators of local restaurants so they comply with all health and hygienic requirements and standards😲😲🙄🙄😜😜🤪🤪
