Honestly I think that she is being very fair and honest with the students. I was did ballet and pointe from a young age and stopped after high school. For every routine (or if we were doing a combo) my ballet teacher had us audition for our spots or do it one by one. With classical ballet you have to be very precise and disciplined so immediate feedback is very helpful for the students. I actually prefer how she is very upfront about her opinion and critics, sometimes my teacher would be very vague and I would go crazy trying to figure out what I needed to fix. I will admit the look she gave was very intense, if I was her student I would be wary if it was directed to me 😆
