@Robert Smith yeah there is obviously going to be damage. I would rather clean up and go through the house knowing it survived and my family would of been safe. Especially knowing many houses were removed from the foundation and reduced to kindling.
Why are almost all the pools filled with jet black water, is that the fall out from the oil tanks that the covers blew off I am wondering? What a great mess to clean up and the cost of the repairs. Sincerely hope everyone has some sort of insurance...what a loss if they don't.
That's because they are filled with debri that is decaying and almost instantly the water left untreated will turn black. Not uncommon at all and definitely not from oil tanks on Grand Bahama.
Yeah, seeing all these crushed multi million dollar homes that were uninhabited doesn’t bother me compared to the devastation in places like Marsh Harbor
I love this place and please keep us informed as to the rebuilding. Thanks for doing this
What a mess! Clean up will be massive! Prayers 🙏
Thank God that is a people with money area. I hope donations are for real needy people.
God BLESS you all
Man - they mcmansioned the shit out of that place.
If you live in a hurricane zone it's only a matter of time. Looks like our insurance rates are going up again.
Anything built recently really isn t too bad.

And would assume after this that the builders/builder will be busy. Great advertising!!!
I won't back living there again. Next time it will probably hit for sure by a hurricane category 5 1/2 or 6. I'm out.
@@darlayjones669 I know that's a hard decision!!! But I guess living in paradise even comes at a cost!!! Good LUCK!!!!
My heart aches for you all .

Will take many years just to try and clean up

These people destroyed the island forcing locals to sell their homes. Karma is a bitch.
