To my knowledge the following facts are relevant.
1. Ancient and mediaeval India depended on agriculture.
2. There was a successful barter system in the rural economy.
3. There are four factors of production -Land, Labour, capital and enterpreunship
4. There are several sub secs within Brahmins and each sub
sect had its own function. No generalisation on the function is correct. However some Brahmins tilled their own land or gave their lands to tenants for tilling.
5. Vaishyas contributed mainly for capital.
6. Qualty father than equality is need oh the hour for individual self actualization
7. One can not dribbling between religion, social systems economics etc as per spur of the moment.
8. Anyway it is for the academic world to scrutinise and come to determination on this kind of theorising.

Mythology about Narakasura: Narakasura was son of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu and Bhuudevi. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Siva and did Ghora Tapassu. When Lord Shiva appeared and offered boon Narakasura wanted boon of immortality. Lord Shiva refused but granted him boon that only his mother could kill him. Subsequently Narakasura became very wicked, snatched lands of the poor, committed atrocities against women. In Dwapara Yuga people approached Lord Krishna and approached him to remedy the situation. Lord Krishna with spouse Satyabhama goes on a personal battle with. him. During the battle Lord Krishna pretends to have swooned hit by an arrow. Entaged Satwa Bhama who is incarnation of Bhuudevi fights and kills Narakasura.
Thus it is story of woman empowerment and a woman destroying evil.
My interpretation: Narakasura and Lord Krishna are within you. Good and evil are within you. Satyabhama represents your conscience. Conscience kills evil within you.
You come from darkness into light. You come from ignorance to wisdom.. You clean your mind as also your surroundings.
Narakasura also represents weeds and other unwanted plants which cause harm to crops and need to be destroyed by burning.

The Brahmins who perform cremation ceremony are not called pujaries or purohits. The mantras they learn and practice are called 'aparam' and are mostly from Adharvana veda. The learning and practice is not done in homes or temples but in some distant and isolatrd spots. These brahmins do not perform pujas in temples. They are nor allowed into a house and people speak in the street outside the house and are sent off. Earlier times they had patronage from society. Now in our good old golden India Guruv taught his disciples and took no fees or salary. Now professors take lakhs of rupees per month as salary. Now how much has a person like Kancha Illiah spent on getting his degrees and how much he has taken as salaries? May be 40 to 50 times more than he spent? Because teaching staff demand agitate and extract huge salaries students have to pay hefty fees. Now more than 50% need not pay being SCs STs and OBCs and the brunt and burden falls on parents of other parents. Now what is the contribution of these non enguneering and non medical processors to production? Mao sent them to go and work in the fields and factories rightly. No one can pontify thinking that he is nothing short of a Socrates. Socrates never wrote a book. He never made business of his beliefs ..
