Yeah, it's quite nostalgic, and it has a lot of hype. The new death battle main theme is good, but this is phenomenal. Also, I miss when they used copyrighted music from different series. The new songs are good or amazing, don't get me wrong, but it feels nice to hear music from different series(Despite my dislike of Bowser Vs Ganon, i liked how the analysis used many of Bowsers music).
I miss how at the start they said connections first and then named the characters after it, there was an epic built up to it. I really don't like how they have it now.

i get why they'd want to use an original theme instead of continuing to use this, but honestly this'll always be the death battle theme for me it's just got so much more weight and intensity behind it that it's practically _screaming_ "the score is going to be settled", which is exactly the kind of feeling you want to give the main theme of a show about making characters from different series fight to the death to see who'd win - hearing 0:11 kick in as they introduce the characters and stuff was just amazing and i don't think it could ever be topped by another song kind of hope they bring it back for a special episode or something, like for the wiz vs. boomstick battle

Effect and Voice. 2: They have to animate the host just for stupid unfunny comedy, which is merely a excuse to make the fights short. 3: There’s more talking than fighting in the fights, and they get actual voice actors instead of just using voice clips. 4: The replaced the awesome, badass theme with one that’s worse, and nowhere near as good. The original theme was the shit. It makes you feel excited, and wanting to see the fight, regardless of who wins. It wasn’t just badass, it was legendary.

Personally that battle is very close stewie has the advantage in smartness and tactics but Eric has proven way higher physical feats and is much faster

Revisiting this after hearing they're doing the final between Wiz and Boomstick. (Assuming it will be the last ever episode) I'm going to miss Death Battle; I havent watched every episode, but i watched a lot of the earlier ones many years ago as a kid, hearing this theme play at the start. well, maybe. but superman killed goku. twice. and alfred was probably having a piece of a kryptonite nearby, either that or he had batman's kryptonite ring. also, last i checked, crossovers aren't canon. even in comics. and i haven't watched kuroshitsuji, but walter could do shit with his razor-sharp threads that would baffle both sebastian AND walter, for a man in his 70's that is. also, i didn't add alfred in this. but a butler royale would be interesting. also, i haven't read that batman comic where Alfred headbutts supes in the face, i've just seen a page of it on google images.
I also think Butler from Artemis Fowl would be really good, although he's technically a bodyguard. Guy's a badass who beats up trolls, what's not to like?

Yeah, it's quite nostalgic, and it has a lot of hype. The new death battle main theme is good, but this is phenomenal. Also, I miss when they used copyrighted music from different series. The new songs are good or amazing, don't get me wrong, but it feels nice to hear music from different series(Despite my dislike of Bowser Vs Ganon, i liked how the analysis used many of Bowsers music).

it's just got so much more weight and intensity behind it that it's practically _screaming_ "the score is going to be settled", which is exactly the kind of feeling you want to give the main theme of a show about making characters from different series fight to the death to see who'd win - hearing 0:11 kick in as they introduce the characters and stuff was just amazing and i don't think it could ever be topped by another song

1: They got rid of the “Fight”! Effect and Voice.
2: They have to animate the host just for stupid unfunny comedy, which is merely a excuse to make the fights short.
3: There’s more talking than fighting in the fights, and they get actual voice actors instead of just using voice clips.
4: The replaced the awesome, badass theme with one that’s worse, and nowhere near as good.
The original theme was the shit. It makes you feel excited, and wanting to see the fight, regardless of who wins. It wasn’t just badass, it was legendary.

Whenever I hear this theme the first thing that runs through my mind is "Today, someone is going to die". The new one's all right, but this just screams that *"IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE!"*
I think the cover should've been a bunch of statues of fictional characters covered in blood, silhouettes of battle classes (Brawler, Archer, Swordfighter, Gunner, Staff, etc.), or a line up of characters that's look like they're in war.

Parasoul (Skullgirls) vs Setsuka (Soulcalibur)-Way better than Parasoul vs Mitsuru, and since Mitsuru is more likely to fight Jin Kazama (I know it's stupid but the countdown in the death battle to be officially made is featured) and Weiss Schnee vs Mitsuru Kirijo. And I heard someone is trying to find an opponent for Parasoul.
